Chapître 98

1

A Psalm.
O sing³ unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done¹ marvellous things:¹² his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.⁵²

The LORD hath made known⁵² his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed¹⁴ in the sight of the heathen.

He hath remembered¹ his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen¹ the salvation of our God.

Make a joyful noise⁵⁴ unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise,³ and rejoice,¹⁶ and sing praise.¹⁶

 Sing¹⁶ unto the LORD with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.

6

With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise⁵⁴ before the LORD, the King.

7

Let the sea roar,⁴ and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell⁶ therein.

8

Let the floods clap⁴ [their] hands: let the hills be joyful¹⁷ together

9

 Before the LORD; for he cometh¹ to judge² the earth: with righteousness shall he judge⁴ the world, and the people with equity.
