Chapître 99

1

The LORD reigneth;¹ let the people tremble:⁴ he sitteth⁶ [between] the cherubims; let the earth be moved.⁴

2

The LORD [is] great in Zion; and he [is] high¹ above all the people.

3

Let them praise⁵⁵ thy great and terrible¹² name; [for] it [is] holy.

4

The king's strength also loveth¹ judgment; thou dost establish³¹ equity, thou executest¹ judgment and righteousness in Jacob.

5

 Exalt³³ ye the LORD our God, and worship¹⁰⁰ at his footstool; ¹⁹¹⁶ [for] he [is] holy.

 Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call⁶ upon his name; they called⁶ upon the LORD, and he answered⁴ them.

7

He spake¹⁷ unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept¹ his testimonies, and the ordinance [that] he gave¹ them.

8

Thou answeredst¹ them, O LORD our God: thou wast a God that forgavest⁶ them, though thou tookest vengeance⁶ of their inventions.

9

 Exalt³³ the LORD our God, and worship¹⁰⁰ at his holy hill; for the LORD our God [is] holy.
