Chapître 87

1

A Psalm [or] Song for the sons of Korah.
His foundation [is] in the holy mountains.

2

The LORD loveth⁶ the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.

3

Glorious things¹² are spoken³⁰ of thee, O city of God. Selah.

I will make mention⁵⁵ of Rahab and Babylon to them that know⁶ me: behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this [man] was born²⁷ there.

And of Zion it shall be said,¹¹ This and that man was born²⁷ in her: and the highest himself shall establish³⁴ her.

The LORD shall count,⁴ when he writeth up² the people, [that] this [man] was born²⁷ there. Selah.

As well the singers⁶ as the players⁶ on instruments [shall be there]: all my springs [are] in thee.
