1  To the chief Musician⁵³²⁹ upon⁵⁹²¹ Mahalath,⁴²⁵⁷ Maschil,⁴⁹⁰⁵ A Psalm of David.¹⁷³² The fool⁵⁰³⁶ hath said⁵⁵⁹ in his heart,³⁸²⁰ There is no³⁶⁹ God.⁴³⁰ Corrupt⁷⁸⁴³ are they, and have done abominable⁸⁵⁸¹ iniquity:⁵⁷⁶⁶ there is none³⁶⁹ that doeth⁶²¹³ good.²⁸⁹⁶

2  God⁴³⁰ looked down⁸²⁵⁹ from heaven^{4480 8064} upon⁵⁹²¹ the children¹¹²¹ of men,¹²⁰ to see⁷²⁰⁰ if there were³⁴²⁶ any that did understand,⁷⁹¹⁹ that did seek^{1875 853} God.⁴³⁰

3  Every one³⁶⁰⁵ of them is gone back:⁵⁴⁷² they are altogether³¹⁶² become filthy;⁴⁴⁴ there is none³⁶⁹ that doeth⁶²¹³ good,²⁸⁹⁶ no,³⁶⁹ not¹⁵⁷¹ one.²⁵⁹

4  Have the workers⁶⁴⁶⁶ of iniquity²⁰⁵ no³⁸⁰⁸ knowledge?³⁰⁴⁵ who eat up³⁹⁸ my people⁵⁹⁷¹ as they eat³⁹⁸ bread:³⁸⁹⁹ they have not³⁸⁰⁸ called upon⁷¹²¹ God.⁴³⁰

5  There⁸⁰³³ were they in great fear,^{6342 6343} where no³⁸⁰⁸ fear⁶³⁴³ was:¹⁹⁶¹ for³⁵⁸⁸ God⁴³⁰ hath scattered⁶³⁴⁰ the bones⁶¹⁰⁶ of him that encampeth²⁵⁸³ against thee: thou hast put them to shame,⁹⁵⁴ because³⁵⁸⁸ God⁴³⁰ hath despised³⁹⁸⁸ them.

6  Oh that^{4310 5414} the salvation³⁴⁴⁴ of Israel³⁴⁷⁸ were come out of Zion!^{4480 6726} When God⁴³⁰ bringeth back⁷⁷²⁵ the captivity⁷⁶²² of his people,⁵⁹⁷¹ Jacob³²⁹⁰ shall rejoice,¹⁵²³ and Israel³⁴⁷⁸ shall be glad.⁸⁰⁵⁵

3 ὁ θεός ἐν τῷ ὀνόματί σου σῶσόν με καὶ ἐν τῇ δυνάμει σου κρῖνόν με

4 ὁ θεός εἰσάκουσον τῆς προσευχῆς μου ἐνώτισαι τὰ ῥήματα τοῦ στόματός μου

5 ὅτι ἀλλότριοι ἐπανέστησαν ἐπ᾽ ἐμέ καὶ κραταιοὶ ἐζήτησαν τὴν ψυχήν μου οὐ προέθεντο τὸν θεὸν ἐνώπιον αὐτῶν διάψαλμα

6 ἰδοὺ γὰρ ὁ θεὸς βοηθεῖ μοι καὶ ὁ κύριος ἀντιλήμπτωρ τῆς ψυχῆς μου

7 ἀποστρέψει τὰ κακὰ τοῖς ἐχθροῖς μου ἐν τῇ ἀληθείᾳ σου ἐξολέθρευσον αὐτούς

8 ἑκουσίως θύσω σοι ἐξομολογήσομαι τῷ ὀνόματί σου κύριε ὅτι ἀγαθόν

9 ὅτι ἐκ πάσης θλίψεως ἐρρύσω με καὶ ἐν τοῖς ἐχθροῖς μου ἐπεῖδεν ὁ ὀφθαλμός μου

‎1 ‏לַמְנַצֵּ֥חַ עַֽל־מָחֲלַ֗ת מַשְׂכִּ֥יל לְדָוִֽד׃

‎2 ‏אָ֘מַ֤ר נָבָ֣ל בְּ֭לִבּוֹ אֵ֣ין אֱלֹהִ֑ים הִֽ֝שְׁחִ֗יתוּ וְהִֽתְעִ֥יבוּ עָ֝֗וֶל אֵ֣ין עֹֽשֵׂה־טֽוֹב׃

‎3 ‏אֱ‍ֽלֹהִ֗ים מִשָּׁמַיִם֮ הִשְׁקִ֪יף עַֽל־בְּנֵ֫י אָדָ֥ם לִ֭רְאוֹת הֲיֵ֣שׁ מַשְׂכִּ֑יל דֹּ֝רֵ֗שׁ אֶת־אֱלֹהִֽים׃

‎4 ‏כֻּלּ֥וֹ סָג֮ יַחְדָּ֪ו נֶ֫אֱלָ֥חוּ אֵ֤ין עֹֽשֵׂה־ט֑וֹב אֵ֝֗ין גַּם־אֶחָֽד׃

‎5 ‏הֲלֹ֥א יָדְעוּ֮ פֹּ֤עֲלֵ֫י אָ֥וֶן אֹכְלֵ֣י עַ֭מִּי אָ֣כְלוּ לֶ֑חֶם אֱ֝לֹהִ֗ים לֹ֣א קָרָֽאוּ׃

‎6 ‏שָׁ֤ם׀ פָּֽחֲדוּ־פַחַד֮ לֹא־הָ֪יָה֫ פָ֥חַד כִּֽי־אֱלֹהִ֗ים פִּ֭זַּר עַצְמ֣וֹת חֹנָ֑ךְ הֱ֝בִשֹׁ֗תָה כִּֽי־אֱלֹהִ֥ים מְאָסָֽם׃

‎7 ‏מִ֥י יִתֵּ֣ן מִצִּיּוֹן֮ יְשֻׁע֪וֹת יִשְׂרָ֫אֵ֥ל בְּשׁ֣וּב אֱ֭לֹהִים שְׁב֣וּת עַמּ֑וֹ יָגֵ֥ל יַ֝עֲקֹ֗ב יִשְׂמַ֥ח יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

3 [Deus, in nomine tuo salvum me fac,
et in virtute tua judica me.

4 Deus, exaudi orationem meam;
auribus percipe verba oris mei.

5 Quoniam alieni insurrexerunt adversum me,
et fortes quæsierunt animam meam,
et non proposuerunt Deum ante conspectum suum.

6 Ecce enim Deus adjuvat me,
et Dominus susceptor est animæ meæ.

7 Averte mala inimicis meis;
et in veritate tua disperde illos.

8 Voluntarie sacrificabo tibi,
et confitebor nomini tuo, Domine, quoniam bonum est.

9 Quoniam ex omni tribulatione eripuisti me,
et super inimicos meos despexit oculus meus.]
