1  And the lot¹⁴⁸⁶ of the children¹¹²¹ of Joseph³¹³⁰ fell³³¹⁸ from Jordan^{4480 3383} by Jericho,³⁴⁰⁵ unto the water⁴³²⁵ of Jericho³⁴⁰⁵ on the east,⁴²¹⁷ to the wilderness⁴⁰⁵⁷ that goeth up⁵⁹²⁷ from Jericho^{4480 3405} throughout mount²⁰²² Bethel,¹⁰⁰⁸

2  And goeth out³³¹⁸ from Bethel^{4480 1008} to Luz,³⁸⁷⁰ and passeth along⁵⁶⁷⁴ unto⁴¹³ the borders¹³⁶⁶ of Archi⁷⁵⁷ to Ataroth,⁵⁸⁵²

3  And goeth down³³⁸¹ westward³²²⁰ to⁴¹³ the coast¹³⁶⁶ of Japhleti,³³¹¹ unto⁵⁷⁰⁴ the coast¹³⁶⁶ of Beth-horon¹⁰³² the nether,⁸⁴⁸¹ and to⁵⁷⁰⁴ Gezer:¹⁵⁰⁷ and the goings out⁸⁴⁴⁴ thereof are¹⁹⁶¹ at the sea.³²²⁰

4  So the children¹¹²¹ of Joseph,³¹³⁰ Manasseh⁴⁵¹⁹ and Ephraim,⁶⁶⁹ took their inheritance.⁵¹⁵⁷

5  And the border¹³⁶⁶ of the children¹¹²¹ of Ephraim⁶⁶⁹ according to their families⁴⁹⁴⁰ was¹⁹⁶¹ thus: even the border¹³⁶⁶ of their inheritance⁵¹⁵⁹ on the east⁴²¹⁷ side was¹⁹⁶¹ Ataroth-addar,⁵⁸⁵³ unto⁵⁷⁰⁴ Beth-horon¹⁰³² the upper;⁵⁹⁴⁵

6  And the border¹³⁶⁶ went out³³¹⁸ toward the sea³²²⁰ to Michmethah⁴³⁶⁶ on the north side;^{4480 6828} and the border¹³⁶⁶ went about⁵⁴³⁷ eastward⁴²¹⁷ unto Taanath-shiloh,⁸³⁸⁷ and passed by⁵⁶⁷⁴ it on the east^{4480 4217} to Janohah;³²³⁹

7  And it went down³³⁸¹ from Janohah^{4480 3239} to Ataroth,⁵⁸⁵² and to Naarath,⁵²⁹² and came⁶²⁹³ to Jericho,³⁴⁰⁵ and went out³³¹⁸ at Jordan.³³⁸³

8  The border¹³⁶⁶ went out¹⁹⁸⁰ from Tappuah^{4480 8599} westward³²²⁰ unto the river⁵¹⁵⁸ Kanah;⁷⁰⁷¹ and the goings out⁸⁴⁴⁴ thereof were¹⁹⁶¹ at the sea.³²²⁰ This²⁰⁶³ is the inheritance⁵¹⁵⁹ of the tribe⁴²⁹⁴ of the children¹¹²¹ of Ephraim⁶⁶⁹ by their families.⁴⁹⁴⁰

9  And the separate³⁹⁹⁵ cities⁵⁸⁹² for the children¹¹²¹ of Ephraim⁶⁶⁹ were among⁸⁴³² the inheritance⁵¹⁵⁹ of the children¹¹²¹ of Manasseh,⁴⁵¹⁹ all³⁶⁰⁵ the cities⁵⁸⁹² with their villages.²⁶⁹¹

10  And they drove not out^{3423 3808 853} the Canaanites³⁶⁶⁹ that dwelt³⁴²⁷ in Gezer:¹⁵⁰⁷ but the Canaanites³⁶⁶⁹ dwell³⁴²⁷ among⁷¹³⁰ the Ephraimites⁶⁶⁹ unto⁵⁷⁰⁴ this²⁰⁸⁸ day,³¹¹⁷ and serve⁵⁶⁴⁷ under tribute.⁴⁵²²

1 καὶ ἐγένετο τὰ ὅρια υἱῶν Ιωσηφ ἀπὸ τοῦ Ιορδάνου τοῦ κατὰ Ιεριχω ἀπ᾽ ἀνατολῶν καὶ ἀναβήσεται ἀπὸ Ιεριχω εἰς τὴν ὀρεινὴν τὴν ἔρημον εἰς Βαιθηλ Λουζα

2 καὶ ἐξελεύσεται εἰς Βαιθηλ καὶ παρελεύσεται ἐπὶ τὰ ὅρια τοῦ Χαταρωθι

3 καὶ διελεύσεται ἐπὶ τὴν θάλασσαν ἐπὶ τὰ ὅρια Απταλιμ ἕως τῶν ὁρίων Βαιθωρων τὴν κάτω καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὴν θάλασσαν

4 καὶ ἐκληρονόμησαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ιωσηφ Εφραιμ καὶ Μανασση

5 καὶ ἐγενήθη ὅρια υἱῶν Εφραιμ κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν καὶ ἐγενήθη τὰ ὅρια τῆς κληρονομίας αὐτῶν ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν Αταρωθ καὶ Εροκ ἕως Βαιθωρων τὴν ἄνω καὶ Γαζαρα

6 καὶ διελεύσεται τὰ ὅρια ἐπὶ τὴν θάλασσαν εἰς Ικασμων ἀπὸ βορρᾶ Θερμα περιελεύσεται ἐπὶ ἀνατολὰς εἰς Θηνασα καὶ Σελλησα καὶ παρελεύσεται ἀπ᾽ ἀνατολῶν εἰς Ιανωκα

7 καὶ εἰς Μαχω καὶ Αταρωθ καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν καὶ ἐλεύσεται ἐπὶ Ιεριχω καὶ διεκβαλεῖ ἐπὶ τὸν Ιορδάνην

8 καὶ ἀπὸ Ταφου πορεύσεται τὰ ὅρια ἐπὶ θάλασσαν ἐπὶ Χελκανα καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος αὐτῶν ἐπὶ θάλασσαν αὕτη ἡ κληρονομία φυλῆς Εφραιμ κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν

9 καὶ αἱ πόλεις αἱ ἀφορισθεῖσαι τοῖς υἱοῖς Εφραιμ ἀνὰ μέσον τῆς κληρονομίας υἱῶν Μανασση πᾶσαι αἱ πόλεις καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν

10 καὶ οὐκ ἀπώλεσεν Εφραιμ τὸν Χαναναῖον τὸν κατοικοῦντα ἐν Γαζερ καὶ κατῴκει ὁ Χαναναῖος ἐν τῷ Εφραιμ ἕως τῆς ἡμέρας ταύτης ἕως ἀνέβη Φαραω βασιλεὺς Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἔλαβεν αὐτὴν καὶ ἐνέπρησεν αὐτὴν ἐν πυρί καὶ τοὺς Χαναναίους καὶ τοὺς Φερεζαίους καὶ τοὺς κατοικοῦντας ἐν Γαζερ ἐξεκέντησαν καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτὴν Φαραω ἐν φερνῇ τῇ θυγατρὶ αὐτοῦ

‎1 ‏וַיֵּצֵ֨א הַגּוֹרָ֜ל לִבְנֵ֤י יוֹסֵף֙ מִיַּרְדֵּ֣ן יְרִיח֔וֹ לְמֵ֥י יְרִיח֖וֹ מִזְרָ֑חָה הַמִּדְבָּ֗ר עֹלֶ֧ה מִירִיח֛וֹ בָּהָ֖ר בֵּֽית־אֵֽל׃

‎2 ‏וְיָצָ֥א מִבֵּֽית־אֵ֖ל ל֑וּזָה וְעָבַ֛ר אֶל־גְּב֥וּל הָאַרְכִּ֖י עֲטָרֽוֹת׃

‎3 ‏וְיָֽרַד־יָ֜מָּה אֶל־גְּב֣וּל הַיַּפְלֵטִ֗י עַ֣ד גְּב֧וּל בֵּית־חוֹרֹ֛ן תַּחְתּ֖וֹן וְעַד־גָּ֑זֶר וְהָי֥וּ תצאתו תֹצְאֹתָ֖יו יָֽמָּה׃

‎4 ‏וַיִּנְחֲל֥וּ בְנֵי־יוֹסֵ֖ף מְנַשֶּׁ֥ה וְאֶפְרָֽיִם׃

‎5 ‏וַיְהִ֛י גְּב֥וּל בְּנֵֽי־אֶפְרַ֖יִם לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֑ם וַיְהִ֞י גְּב֤וּל נַחֲלָתָם֙ מִזְרָ֔חָה עַטְר֣וֹת אַדָּ֔ר עַד־בֵּ֥ית חוֹרֹ֖ן עֶלְיֽוֹן׃

‎6 ‏וְיָצָ֨א הַגְּב֜וּל הַיָּ֗מָּה הַֽמִּכְמְתָת֙ מִצָּפ֔וֹן וְנָסַ֧ב הַגְּב֛וּל מִזְרָ֖חָה תַּאֲנַ֣ת שִׁלֹ֑ה וְעָבַ֣ר אוֹת֔וֹ מִמִּזְרַ֖ח יָנֽוֹחָה׃

‎7 ‏וְיָרַ֥ד מִיָּנ֖וֹחָה עֲטָר֣וֹת וְנַעֲרָ֑תָה וּפָגַע֙ בִּֽירִיח֔וֹ וְיָצָ֖א הַיַּרְדֵּֽן׃

‎8 ‏מִתַּפּ֜וּחַ יֵלֵ֨ךְ הַגְּב֥וּל יָ֙מָּה֙ נַ֣חַל קָנָ֔ה וְהָי֥וּ תֹצְאֹתָ֖יו הַיָּ֑מָּה זֹ֗את נַחֲלַ֛ת מַטֵּ֥ה בְנֵי־אֶפְרַ֖יִם לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָֽם׃

‎9 ‏וְהֶעָרִ֗ים הַמִּבְדָּלוֹת֙ לִבְנֵ֣י אֶפְרַ֔יִם בְּת֖וֹךְ נַחֲלַ֣ת בְּנֵֽי־מְנַשֶּׁ֑ה כָּֽל־הֶעָרִ֖ים וְחַצְרֵיהֶֽן׃

‎10 ‏וְלֹ֣א הוֹרִ֔ישׁוּ אֶת־הַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֖י הַיּוֹשֵׁ֣ב בְּגָ֑זֶר וַיֵּ֨שֶׁב הַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֜י בְּקֶ֤רֶב אֶפְרַ֙יִם֙ עַד־הַיּ֣וֹם הַזֶּ֔ה וַיְהִ֖י לְמַס־עֹבֵֽד׃ פ

1 Cecidit quoque sors filiorum Joseph ab Jordane contra Jericho et aquas ejus ab oriente: solitudo quæ ascendit de Jericho ad montem Bethel:

2 et egreditur de Bethel Luza: transitque terminum Archi, Ataroth:

3 et descendit ad occidentem juxta terminum Jephleti, usque ad terminos Beth-horon inferioris, et Gazer: finiunturque regiones ejus mari magno:

4 possederuntque filii Joseph, Manasses et Ephraim.

5 Et factus est terminus filiorum Ephraim per cognationes suas: et possessio eorum contra orientem Ataroth Addar usque Beth-horon superiorem.

6 Egrediunturque confinia in mare: Machmethath vero aquilonem respicit, et circuit terminos contra orientem in Thanathselo: et pertransit ab oriente Janoë.

7 Descenditque de Janoë in Ataroth et Naaratha: et pervenit in Jericho, egrediturque ad Jordanem.

8 De Taphua pertransit contra mare in vallem arundineti, suntque egressus ejus in mare salsissimum. Hæc est possessio tribus filiorum Ephraim per familias suas.

9 Urbesque separatæ sunt filiis Ephraim in medio possessionis filiorum Manasse, et villæ earum.

10 Et non interfecerunt filii Ephraim Chananæum, qui habitabat in Gazer: habitavitque Chananæus in medio Ephraim usque in diem hanc tributarius.
