HEMERA
The light of the terrestrial regions as Aether is the light of the heavenly regions. The Protogenos and the female personification of day. Both were the offspring of Erebus and Nyx. (Hesiod's Theogony 118)
Hemera was closely identified with Hera, the wife of Zeus, and Eos the goddess of the morning red, who brings up the light of day from the east.
In Bacchylides it is stated that Nyx and Cronos are the parents but Hyginus in his Preface mentions Chaos as the mother and father and Nyx as her sister.
From The Theogony of Hesiod
From Smith's Dictionary of Greek and Roman Biography and Mythology(116-138)"From Chaos came forth Erebus and black Night; but of Night were born Aether and Day, whom she conceived and bare from union in love with Erebus. And Earth first bare starry Heaven, equal to herself, to cover her on every side, and to be an ever-sure abiding-place for the blessed gods. And she brought forth long Hills, graceful haunts of the goddess-Nymphs who dwell amongst the glens of the hills."
