Chapître 32

1

[A Psalm] of David, Maschil.
^{7919 56} Blessed [is he whose] transgression [is] forgiven,⁷ [whose] sin [is] covered.⁷

2

 Blessed [is] the man unto whom the LORD imputeth⁴ not iniquity, and in whose spirit [there is] no guile.

When I kept silence,⁵² my bones waxed old¹ through my roaring all the day long.

4

For day and night thy hand was heavy⁴ upon me: my moisture is turned⁸ into the drought of summer. Selah.

I acknowledged⁵⁵ my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid.¹⁴ I said,¹ I will confess⁵⁵ my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest¹ the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

For this shall every one that is godly pray¹⁰¹ unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found:² surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh⁵⁵ unto him.

Thou [art] my hiding place; thou shalt preserve⁴ me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about²⁵ with songs of deliverance. Selah.

I will instruct⁵⁵ thee and teach⁵⁵ thee in the way which thou shalt go:⁴ I will guide⁴ thee with mine eye.

Be ye not as the horse, [or] as the mule, [which] have no understanding:⁵³ whose mouth must be held² in with bit and bridle, lest they come near² unto thee.

10

 Many sorrows [shall be] to the wicked: but he that trusteth⁶ in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.²⁵

11

Be glad³ in the LORD, and rejoice,³ ye righteous: and shout for joy,⁵⁴ all [ye that are] upright in heart.
