1  And the LORD³⁰⁶⁸ said⁵⁵⁹ unto⁴¹³ Aaron,¹⁷⁵ Thou⁸⁵⁹ and thy sons¹¹²¹ and thy father's¹ house¹⁰⁰⁴ with⁸⁵⁴ thee shall bear^{5375 853} the iniquity⁵⁷⁷¹ of the sanctuary:⁴⁷²⁰ and thou⁸⁵⁹ and thy sons¹¹²¹ with⁸⁵⁴ thee shall bear^{5375 853} the iniquity⁵⁷⁷¹ of your priesthood.³⁵⁵⁰

2  And ⁸⁵³ thy brethren²⁵¹ also¹⁵⁷¹ of the tribe⁴²⁹⁴ of Levi,³⁸⁷⁸ the tribe⁷⁶²⁶ of thy father,¹ bring⁷¹²⁶ thou with⁸⁵⁴ thee, that they may be joined³⁸⁶⁷ unto⁵⁹²¹ thee, and minister⁸³³⁴ unto thee: but thou⁸⁵⁹ and thy sons¹¹²¹ with⁸⁵⁴ thee shall minister before⁶⁴⁴⁰ the tabernacle¹⁶⁸ of witness.⁵⁷¹⁵

3  And they shall keep⁸¹⁰⁴ thy charge,⁴⁹³¹ and the charge⁴⁹³¹ of all³⁶⁰⁵ the tabernacle:¹⁶⁸ only³⁸⁹ they shall not³⁸⁰⁸ come nigh^{7126 413} the vessels³⁶²⁷ of the sanctuary⁶⁹⁴⁴ and the altar,⁴¹⁹⁶ that neither^{3808 1571} they,¹⁹⁹² nor ye⁸⁵⁹ also,¹⁵⁷¹ die.⁴¹⁹¹

4  And they shall be joined³⁸⁶⁷ unto⁵⁹²¹ thee, and keep^{8104 853} the charge⁴⁹³¹ of the tabernacle¹⁶⁸ of the congregation,⁴¹⁵⁰ for all³⁶⁰⁵ the service⁵⁶⁵⁶ of the tabernacle:¹⁶⁸ and a stranger²¹¹⁴ shall not³⁸⁰⁸ come nigh⁷¹²⁶ unto⁴¹³ you.

5  And ye shall keep^{8104 853} the charge⁴⁹³¹ of the sanctuary,⁶⁹⁴⁴ and the charge⁴⁹³¹ of the altar:⁴¹⁹⁶ that there be¹⁹⁶¹ no³⁸⁰⁸ wrath⁷¹¹⁰ any more⁵⁷⁵⁰ upon⁵⁹²¹ the children¹¹²¹ of Israel.³⁴⁷⁸

6  And I,⁵⁸⁹ behold,²⁰⁰⁹ I have taken^{3947 853} your brethren²⁵¹ the Levites³⁸⁸¹ from among^{4480 8432} the children¹¹²¹ of Israel:³⁴⁷⁸ to you they are given⁵⁴¹⁴ as a gift⁴⁹⁷⁹ for the LORD,³⁰⁶⁸ to do^{5647 853} the service⁵⁶⁵⁶ of the tabernacle¹⁶⁸ of the congregation.⁴¹⁵⁰

7  Therefore thou⁸⁵⁹ and thy sons¹¹²¹ with⁸⁵⁴ thee shall keep^{8104 853} your priest's office³⁵⁵⁰ for every³⁶⁰⁵ thing¹⁶⁹⁷ of the altar,⁴¹⁹⁶ and within^{4480 1004} the veil;⁶⁵³² and ye shall serve:⁵⁶⁴⁷ I have given^{5414 853} your priest's office³⁵⁵⁰ unto you as a service⁵⁶⁵⁶ of gift:⁴⁹⁷⁹ and the stranger²¹¹⁴ that cometh nigh⁷¹³¹ shall be put to death.⁴¹⁹¹

8  And the LORD³⁰⁶⁸ spoke¹⁶⁹⁶ unto⁴¹³ Aaron,¹⁷⁵ Behold,²⁰⁰⁹ I⁵⁸⁹ also have given⁵⁴¹⁴ thee ⁸⁵³ the charge⁴⁹³¹ of mine heave offerings⁸⁶⁴¹ of all³⁶⁰⁵ the hallowed things⁶⁹⁴⁴ of the children¹¹²¹ of Israel;³⁴⁷⁸ unto thee have I given⁵⁴¹⁴ them by reason of the anointing,⁴⁸⁸⁸ and to thy sons,¹¹²¹ by an ordinance²⁷⁰⁶ forever.⁵⁷⁶⁹

9  This²⁰⁸⁸ shall be¹⁹⁶¹ thine of the most holy things,^{4480 6944 6944} reserved from⁴⁴⁸⁰ the fire:⁷⁸⁴ every³⁶⁰⁵ oblation⁷¹³³ of theirs, every³⁶⁰⁵ meat offering⁴⁵⁰³ of theirs, and every³⁶⁰⁵ sin offering²⁴⁰³ of theirs, and every³⁶⁰⁵ trespass offering⁸¹⁷ of theirs, which⁸³⁴ they shall render⁷⁷²⁵ unto me, shall be most holy^{6944 6944} for thee and for thy sons.¹¹²¹

10  In the most holy^{6944 6944} place shalt thou eat³⁹⁸ it; every³⁶⁰⁵ male²¹⁴⁵ shall eat³⁹⁸ it: it shall be¹⁹⁶¹ holy⁶⁹⁴⁴ unto thee.

11  And this²⁰⁸⁸ is thine; the heave offering⁸⁶⁴¹ of their gift,⁴⁹⁷⁶ with all³⁶⁰⁵ the wave offerings⁸⁵⁷³ of the children¹¹²¹ of Israel:³⁴⁷⁸ I have given⁵⁴¹⁴ them unto thee, and to thy sons¹¹²¹ and to thy daughters¹³²³ with⁸⁵⁴ thee, by a statute²⁷⁰⁶ forever:⁵⁷⁶⁹ every one³⁶⁰⁵ that is clean²⁸⁸⁹ in thy house¹⁰⁰⁴ shall eat³⁹⁸ of it.

12  All³⁶⁰⁵ the best²⁴⁵⁹ of the oil,³³²³ and all³⁶⁰⁵ the best²⁴⁵⁹ of the wine,⁸⁴⁹² and of the wheat,¹⁷¹⁵ the firstfruits⁷²²⁵ of them which⁸³⁴ they shall offer⁵⁴¹⁴ unto the LORD,³⁰⁶⁸ them have I given⁵⁴¹⁴ thee.

13  And whatsoever^{3605 834} is first ripe¹⁰⁶¹ in the land,⁷⁷⁶ which⁸³⁴ they shall bring⁹³⁵ unto the LORD,³⁰⁶⁸ shall be¹⁹⁶¹ thine; every one³⁶⁰⁵ that is clean²⁸⁸⁹ in thine house¹⁰⁰⁴ shall eat³⁹⁸ of it.

14  Every thing³⁶⁰⁵ devoted²⁷⁶⁴ in Israel³⁴⁷⁸ shall be¹⁹⁶¹ thine.

15  Every thing³⁶⁰⁵ that openeth⁶³⁶³ the matrix⁷³⁵⁸ in all³⁶⁰⁵ flesh,¹³²⁰ which⁸³⁴ they bring⁷¹²⁶ unto the LORD,³⁰⁶⁸ whether it be of men¹²⁰ or beasts,⁹²⁹ shall be¹⁹⁶¹ thine: nevertheless^{389 853} the firstborn¹⁰⁶⁰ of man¹²⁰ shalt thou surely redeem,^{6299 6299} and the firstling¹⁰⁶⁰ of unclean²⁹³¹ beasts⁹²⁹ shalt thou redeem.⁶²⁹⁹

16  And those that are to be redeemed⁶²⁹⁹ from a month²³²⁰ old^{4480 1121} shalt thou redeem,⁶²⁹⁹ according to thine estimation,⁶¹⁸⁷ for the money³⁷⁰¹ of five²⁵⁶⁸ shekels,⁸²⁵⁵ after the shekel⁸²⁵⁵ of the sanctuary,⁶⁹⁴⁴ which¹⁹³¹ is twenty⁶²⁴² gerahs.¹⁶²⁶

17  But³⁸⁹ the firstling¹⁰⁶⁰ of a cow,⁷⁷⁹⁴ or¹⁷⁶ the firstling¹⁰⁶⁰ of a sheep,³⁷⁷⁵ or¹⁷⁶ the firstling¹⁰⁶⁰ of a goat,⁵⁷⁹⁵ thou shalt not³⁸⁰⁸ redeem;⁶²⁹⁹ they¹⁹⁹² are holy:⁶⁹⁴⁴ thou shalt sprinkle^{2236 853} their blood¹⁸¹⁸ upon⁵⁹²¹ the altar,⁴¹⁹⁶ and shalt burn⁶⁹⁹⁹ their fat²⁴⁵⁹ for an offering made by fire,⁸⁰¹ for a sweet⁵²⁰⁷ savor⁷³⁸¹ unto the LORD.³⁰⁶⁸

18  And the flesh¹³²⁰ of them shall be¹⁹⁶¹ thine, as the wave⁸⁵⁷³ breast²³⁷³ and as the right³²²⁵ shoulder⁷⁷⁸⁵ are¹⁹⁶¹ thine.

19  All³⁶⁰⁵ the heave offerings⁸⁶⁴¹ of the holy things,⁶⁹⁴⁴ which⁸³⁴ the children¹¹²¹ of Israel³⁴⁷⁸ offer⁷³¹¹ unto the LORD,³⁰⁶⁸ have I given⁵⁴¹⁴ thee, and thy sons¹¹²¹ and thy daughters¹³²³ with⁸⁵⁴ thee, by a statute²⁷⁰⁶ forever:⁵⁷⁶⁹ it¹⁹³¹ is a covenant¹²⁸⁵ of salt⁴⁴¹⁷ forever⁵⁷⁶⁹ before⁶⁴⁴⁰ the LORD³⁰⁶⁸ unto thee and to thy seed²²³³ with⁸⁵⁴ thee.

20  And the LORD³⁰⁶⁸ spoke⁵⁵⁹ unto⁴¹³ Aaron,¹⁷⁵ Thou shalt have no inheritance^{5157 3808} in their land,⁷⁷⁶ neither³⁸⁰⁸ shalt thou have¹⁹⁶¹ any part²⁵⁰⁶ among⁸⁴³² them: I⁵⁸⁹ am thy part²⁵⁰⁶ and thine inheritance⁵¹⁵⁹ among⁸⁴³² the children¹¹²¹ of Israel.³⁴⁷⁸

21  And, behold,²⁰⁰⁹ I have given⁵⁴¹⁴ the children¹¹²¹ of Levi³⁸⁷⁸ all³⁶⁰⁵ the tenth⁴⁶⁴³ in Israel³⁴⁷⁸ for an inheritance,⁵¹⁵⁹ for²⁵⁰⁰ their service⁵⁶⁵⁶ which⁸³⁴ they¹⁹⁹² serve,⁵⁶⁴⁷ even ⁸⁵³ the service⁵⁶⁵⁶ of the tabernacle¹⁶⁸ of the congregation.⁴¹⁵⁰

22  Neither³⁸⁰⁸ must the children¹¹²¹ of Israel³⁴⁷⁸ henceforth⁵⁷⁵⁰ come nigh^{7126 413} the tabernacle¹⁶⁸ of the congregation,⁴¹⁵⁰ lest they bear⁵³⁷⁵ sin,²³⁹⁹ and die.⁴¹⁹¹

23  But the Levites³⁸⁸¹ shall do^{5647 853} the service⁵⁶⁵⁶ of the tabernacle¹⁶⁸ of the congregation,⁴¹⁵⁰ and they¹⁹⁹² shall bear⁵³⁷⁵ their iniquity:⁵⁷⁷¹ it shall be a statute²⁷⁰⁸ forever⁵⁷⁶⁹ throughout your generations,¹⁷⁵⁵ that among⁸⁴³² the children¹¹²¹ of Israel³⁴⁷⁸ they have⁵¹⁵⁷ no³⁸⁰⁸ inheritance.⁵¹⁵⁹

24  But^{3588 853} the tithes⁴⁶⁴³ of the children¹¹²¹ of Israel,³⁴⁷⁸ which⁸³⁴ they offer⁷³¹¹ as a heave offering⁸⁶⁴¹ unto the LORD,³⁰⁶⁸ I have given⁵⁴¹⁴ to the Levites³⁸⁸¹ to inherit:⁵¹⁵⁹ therefore^{5921 3651} I have said⁵⁵⁹ unto them, Among⁸⁴³² the children¹¹²¹ of Israel³⁴⁷⁸ they shall have⁵¹⁵⁷ no³⁸⁰⁸ inheritance.⁵¹⁵⁹

25  And the LORD³⁰⁶⁸ spoke¹⁶⁹⁶ unto⁴¹³ Moses,⁴⁸⁷² saying,⁵⁵⁹

26  Thus speak¹⁶⁹⁶ unto⁴¹³ the Levites,³⁸⁸¹ and say⁵⁵⁹ unto⁴¹³ them, When³⁵⁸⁸ ye take³⁹⁴⁷ of^{4480 854} the children¹¹²¹ of Israel^{3478 853} the tithes⁴⁶⁴³ which⁸³⁴ I have given⁵⁴¹⁴ you from^{4480 854} them for your inheritance,⁵¹⁵⁹ then ye shall offer up⁷³¹¹ a heave offering⁸⁶⁴¹ of⁴⁴⁸⁰ it for the LORD,³⁰⁶⁸ even a tenth⁴⁶⁴³ part of⁴⁴⁸⁰ the tithe.⁴⁶⁴³

27  And this your heave offering⁸⁶⁴¹ shall be reckoned²⁸⁰³ unto you, as though it were the corn¹⁷¹⁵ of⁴⁴⁸⁰ the threshingfloor,¹⁶³⁷ and as the fullness⁴³⁹⁵ of⁴⁴⁸⁰ the winepress.³³⁴²

28  Thus³⁶⁵¹ ye⁸⁵⁹ also¹⁵⁷¹ shall offer⁷³¹¹ a heave offering⁸⁶⁴¹ unto the LORD³⁰⁶⁸ of all^{4480 3605} your tithes,⁴⁶⁴³ which⁸³⁴ ye receive³⁹⁴⁷ of^{4480 854} the children¹¹²¹ of Israel;³⁴⁷⁸ and ye shall give⁵⁴¹⁴ thereof^{4480 853} the LORD's³⁰⁶⁸ heave offering⁸⁶⁴¹ to Aaron¹⁷⁵ the priest.³⁵⁴⁸

29  Out of all^{4480 3605} your gifts⁴⁹⁷⁹ ye shall offer^{7311 853} every³⁶⁰⁵ heave offering⁸⁶⁴¹ of the LORD,³⁰⁶⁸ of all^{4480 3605} the best²⁴⁵⁹ thereof, even ⁸⁵³ the hallowed part⁴⁷²⁰ thereof out of⁴⁴⁸⁰ it.

30  Therefore thou shalt say⁵⁵⁹ unto⁴¹³ them, When ye have heaved^{7311 853} the best²⁴⁵⁹ thereof from⁴⁴⁸⁰ it, then it shall be counted²⁸⁰³ unto the Levites³⁸⁸¹ as the increase⁸³⁹³ of the threshingfloor,¹⁶³⁷ and as the increase⁸³⁹³ of the winepress.³³⁴²

31  And ye shall eat³⁹⁸ it in every³⁶⁰⁵ place,⁴⁷²⁵ ye⁸⁵⁹ and your households:¹⁰⁰⁴ for³⁵⁸⁸ it¹⁹³¹ is your reward⁷⁹³⁹ for²⁵⁰⁰ your service⁵⁶⁵⁶ in the tabernacle¹⁶⁸ of the congregation.⁴¹⁵⁰

32  And ye shall bear⁵³⁷⁵ no³⁸⁰⁸ sin²³⁹⁹ by reason of⁵⁹²¹ it, when ye have heaved⁷³¹¹ from it ⁸⁵³ the best²⁴⁵⁹ of⁴⁴⁸⁰ it: neither³⁸⁰⁸ shall ye pollute²⁴⁹⁰ the holy things⁶⁹⁴⁴ of the children¹¹²¹ of Israel,³⁴⁷⁸ lest³⁸⁰⁸ ye die.⁴¹⁹¹

1 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς Ααρων λέγων σὺ καὶ οἱ υἱοί σου καὶ ὁ οἶκος πατριᾶς σου λήμψεσθε τὰς ἁμαρτίας τῶν ἁγίων καὶ σὺ καὶ οἱ υἱοί σου λήμψεσθε τὰς ἁμαρτίας τῆς ἱερατείας ὑμῶν

2 καὶ τοὺς ἀδελφούς σου φυλὴν Λευι δῆμον τοῦ πατρός σου προσαγάγου πρὸς σεαυτόν καὶ προστεθήτωσάν σοι καὶ λειτουργείτωσάν σοι καὶ σὺ καὶ οἱ υἱοί σου μετὰ σοῦ ἀπέναντι τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου

3 καὶ φυλάξονται τὰς φυλακάς σου καὶ τὰς φυλακὰς τῆς σκηνῆς πλὴν πρὸς τὰ σκεύη τὰ ἅγια καὶ πρὸς τὸ θυσιαστήριον οὐ προσελεύσονται καὶ οὐκ ἀποθανοῦνται καὶ οὗτοι καὶ ὑμεῖς

4 καὶ προστεθήσονται πρὸς σὲ καὶ φυλάξονται τὰς φυλακὰς τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου κατὰ πάσας τὰς λειτουργίας τῆς σκηνῆς καὶ ὁ ἀλλογενὴς οὐ προσελεύσεται πρὸς σέ

5 καὶ φυλάξεσθε τὰς φυλακὰς τῶν ἁγίων καὶ τὰς φυλακὰς τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου καὶ οὐκ ἔσται θυμὸς ἐν τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ

6 καὶ ἐγὼ εἴληφα τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς ὑμῶν τοὺς Λευίτας ἐκ μέσου τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ δόμα δεδομένον κυρίῳ λειτουργεῖν τὰς λειτουργίας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου

7 καὶ σὺ καὶ οἱ υἱοί σου μετὰ σοῦ διατηρήσετε τὴν ἱερατείαν ὑμῶν κατὰ πάντα τρόπον τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου καὶ τὸ ἔνδοθεν τοῦ καταπετάσματος καὶ λειτουργήσετε τὰς λειτουργίας δόμα τῆς ἱερατείας ὑμῶν καὶ ὁ ἀλλογενὴς ὁ προσπορευόμενος ἀποθανεῖται

8 καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Ααρων καὶ ἐγὼ ἰδοὺ δέδωκα ὑμῖν τὴν διατήρησιν τῶν ἀπαρχῶν ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν ἡγιασμένων μοι παρὰ τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ σοὶ δέδωκα αὐτὰ εἰς γέρας καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς σου μετὰ σέ νόμιμον αἰώνιον

9 καὶ τοῦτο ἔστω ὑμῖν ἀπὸ τῶν ἡγιασμένων ἁγίων τῶν καρπωμάτων ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν δώρων αὐτῶν καὶ ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν θυσιασμάτων αὐτῶν καὶ ἀπὸ πάσης πλημμελείας αὐτῶν καὶ ἀπὸ πασῶν τῶν ἁμαρτιῶν ὅσα ἀποδιδόασίν μοι ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν ἁγίων σοὶ ἔσται καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς σου

10 ἐν τῷ ἁγίῳ τῶν ἁγίων φάγεσθε αὐτά πᾶν ἀρσενικὸν φάγεται αὐτά σὺ καὶ οἱ υἱοί σου ἅγια ἔσται σοι

11 καὶ τοῦτο ἔσται ὑμῖν ἀπαρχὴ δομάτων αὐτῶν ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν ἐπιθεμάτων τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ σοὶ δέδωκα αὐτὰ καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς σου καὶ ταῖς θυγατράσιν σου μετὰ σοῦ νόμιμον αἰώνιον πᾶς καθαρὸς ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ σου ἔδεται αὐτά

12 πᾶσα ἀπαρχὴ ἐλαίου καὶ πᾶσα ἀπαρχὴ οἴνου καὶ σίτου ἀπαρχὴ αὐτῶν ὅσα ἂν δῶσι τῷ κυρίῳ σοὶ δέδωκα αὐτά

13 τὰ πρωτογενήματα πάντα ὅσα ἐν τῇ γῇ αὐτῶν ὅσα ἂν ἐνέγκωσιν κυρίῳ σοὶ ἔσται πᾶς καθαρὸς ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ σου ἔδεται αὐτά

14 πᾶν ἀνατεθεματισμένον ἐν υἱοῖς Ισραηλ σοὶ ἔσται

15 καὶ πᾶν διανοῖγον μήτραν ἀπὸ πάσης σαρκός ἃ προσφέρουσιν κυρίῳ ἀπὸ ἀνθρώπου ἕως κτήνους σοὶ ἔσται ἀλλ᾽ ἢ λύτροις λυτρωθήσεται τὰ πρωτότοκα τῶν ἀνθρώπων καὶ τὰ πρωτότοκα τῶν κτηνῶν τῶν ἀκαθάρτων λυτρώσῃ

16 καὶ ἡ λύτρωσις αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ μηνιαίου ἡ συντίμησις πέντε σίκλων κατὰ τὸν σίκλον τὸν ἅγιον εἴκοσι ὄβολοί εἰσιν

17 πλὴν πρωτότοκα μόσχων καὶ πρωτότοκα προβάτων καὶ πρωτότοκα αἰγῶν οὐ λυτρώσῃ ἅγιά ἐστιν καὶ τὸ αἷμα αὐτῶν προσχεεῖς πρὸς τὸ θυσιαστήριον καὶ τὸ στέαρ ἀνοίσεις κάρπωμα εἰς ὀσμὴν εὐωδίας κυρίῳ

18 καὶ τὰ κρέα ἔσται σοί καθὰ καὶ τὸ στηθύνιον τοῦ ἐπιθέματος καὶ κατὰ τὸν βραχίονα τὸν δεξιὸν σοὶ ἔσται

19 πᾶν ἀφαίρεμα τῶν ἁγίων ὅσα ἂν ἀφέλωσιν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ κυρίῳ σοὶ δέδωκα καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς σου καὶ ταῖς θυγατράσιν σου μετὰ σοῦ νόμιμον αἰώνιον διαθήκη ἁλὸς αἰωνίου ἐστὶν ἔναντι κυρίου σοὶ καὶ τῷ σπέρματί σου μετὰ σέ

20 καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Ααρων ἐν τῇ γῇ αὐτῶν οὐ κληρονομήσεις καὶ μερὶς οὐκ ἔσται σοι ἐν αὐτοῖς ὅτι ἐγὼ μερίς σου καὶ κληρονομία σου ἐν μέσῳ τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ

21 καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς Λευι ἰδοὺ δέδωκα πᾶν ἐπιδέκατον ἐν Ισραηλ ἐν κλήρῳ ἀντὶ τῶν λειτουργιῶν αὐτῶν ὅσα αὐτοὶ λειτουργοῦσιν λειτουργίαν ἐν τῇ σκηνῇ τοῦ μαρτυρίου

22 καὶ οὐ προσελεύσονται ἔτι οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ εἰς τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου λαβεῖν ἁμαρτίαν θανατηφόρον

23 καὶ λειτουργήσει ὁ Λευίτης αὐτὸς τὴν λειτουργίαν τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ αὐτοὶ λήμψονται τὰ ἁμαρτήματα αὐτῶν νόμιμον αἰώνιον εἰς τὰς γενεὰς αὐτῶν καὶ ἐν μέσῳ υἱῶν Ισραηλ οὐ κληρονομήσουσιν κληρονομίαν

24 ὅτι τὰ ἐπιδέκατα τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ ὅσα ἂν ἀφορίσωσιν κυρίῳ ἀφαίρεμα δέδωκα τοῖς Λευίταις ἐν κλήρῳ διὰ τοῦτο εἴρηκα αὐτοῖς ἐν μέσῳ υἱῶν Ισραηλ οὐ κληρονομήσουσιν κλῆρον

25 καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων

26 καὶ τοῖς Λευίταις λαλήσεις καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς ἐὰν λάβητε παρὰ τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ τὸ ἐπιδέκατον ὃ δέδωκα ὑμῖν παρ᾽ αὐτῶν ἐν κλήρῳ καὶ ἀφελεῖτε ὑμεῖς ἀπ᾽ αὐτοῦ ἀφαίρεμα κυρίῳ ἐπιδέκατον ἀπὸ τοῦ ἐπιδεκάτου

27 καὶ λογισθήσεται ὑμῖν τὰ ἀφαιρέματα ὑμῶν ὡς σῖτος ἀπὸ ἅλω καὶ ἀφαίρεμα ἀπὸ ληνοῦ

28 οὕτως ἀφελεῖτε καὶ ὑμεῖς ἀπὸ τῶν ἀφαιρεμάτων κυρίου ἀπὸ πάντων ἐπιδεκάτων ὑμῶν ὅσα ἐὰν λάβητε παρὰ τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ καὶ δώσετε ἀπ᾽ αὐτῶν ἀφαίρεμα κυρίῳ Ααρων τῷ ἱερεῖ

29 ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν δομάτων ὑμῶν ἀφελεῖτε ἀφαίρεμα κυρίῳ ἢ ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν ἀπαρχῶν τὸ ἡγιασμένον ἀπ᾽ αὐτοῦ

30 καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς ὅταν ἀφαιρῆτε τὴν ἀπαρχὴν ἀπ᾽ αὐτοῦ καὶ λογισθήσεται τοῖς Λευίταις ὡς γένημα ἀπὸ ἅλω καὶ ὡς γένημα ἀπὸ ληνοῦ

31 καὶ ἔδεσθε αὐτὸ ἐν παντὶ τόπῳ ὑμεῖς καὶ οἱ οἶκοι ὑμῶν ὅτι μισθὸς οὗτος ὑμῖν ἐστιν ἀντὶ τῶν λειτουργιῶν ὑμῶν τῶν ἐν τῇ σκηνῇ τοῦ μαρτυρίου

32 καὶ οὐ λήμψεσθε δι᾽ αὐτὸ ἁμαρτίαν ὅτι ἂν ἀφαιρῆτε τὴν ἀπαρχὴν ἀπ᾽ αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰ ἅγια τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ οὐ βεβηλώσετε ἵνα μὴ ἀποθάνητε

‎1 ‏וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהוָה֙ אֶֽל־אַהֲרֹ֔ן אַתָּ֗ה וּבָנֶ֤יךָ וּבֵית־אָבִ֙יךָ֙ אִתָּ֔ךְ תִּשְׂא֖וּ אֶת־עֲוֹ֣ן הַמִּקְדָּ֑שׁ וְאַתָּה֙ וּבָנֶ֣יךָ אִתָּ֔ךְ תִּשְׂא֖וּ אֶת־עֲוֹ֥ן כְּהֻנַּתְכֶֽם׃

‎2 ‏וְגַ֣ם אֶת־אַחֶיךָ֩ מַטֵּ֨ה לֵוִ֜י שֵׁ֤בֶט אָבִ֙יךָ֙ הַקְרֵ֣ב אִתָּ֔ךְ וְיִלָּו֥וּ עָלֶ֖יךָ וִֽישָׁרְת֑וּךָ וְאַתָּה֙ וּבָנֶ֣יךָ אִתָּ֔ךְ לִפְנֵ֖י אֹ֥הֶל הָעֵדֻֽת׃

‎3 ‏וְשָֽׁמְרוּ֙ מִֽשְׁמַרְתְּךָ֔ וּמִשְׁמֶ֖רֶת כָּל־הָאֹ֑הֶל אַךְ֩ אֶל־כְּלֵ֨י הַקֹּ֤דֶשׁ וְאֶל־הַמִּזְבֵּ֙חַ֙ לֹ֣א יִקְרָ֔בוּ וְלֹֽא־יָמֻ֥תוּ גַם־הֵ֖ם גַּם־אַתֶּֽם׃

‎4 ‏וְנִלְו֣וּ עָלֶ֔יךָ וְשָֽׁמְר֗וּ אֶת־מִשְׁמֶ֙רֶת֙ אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֔ד לְכֹ֖ל עֲבֹדַ֣ת הָאֹ֑הֶל וְזָ֖ר לֹא־יִקְרַ֥ב אֲלֵיכֶֽם׃

‎5 ‏וּשְׁמַרְתֶּ֗ם אֵ֚ת מִשְׁמֶ֣רֶת הַקֹּ֔דֶשׁ וְאֵ֖ת מִשְׁמֶ֣רֶת הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַ וְלֹֽא־יִהְיֶ֥ה ע֛וֹד קֶ֖צֶף עַל־בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

‎6 ‏וַאֲנִ֗י הִנֵּ֤ה לָקַ֙חְתִּי֙ אֶת־אֲחֵיכֶ֣ם הַלְוִיִּ֔ם מִתּ֖וֹךְ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל לָכֶ֞ם מַתָּנָ֤ה נְתֻנִים֙ לַֽיהוָ֔ה לַעֲבֹ֕ד אֶת־עֲבֹדַ֖ת אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃

‎7 ‏וְאַתָּ֣ה וּבָנֶ֣יךָ אִ֠תְּךָ תִּשְׁמְר֨וּ אֶת־כְּהֻנַּתְכֶ֜ם לְכָל־דְּבַ֧ר הַמִּזְבֵּ֛חַ וּלְמִבֵּ֥ית לַפָּרֹ֖כֶת וַעֲבַדְתֶּ֑ם עֲבֹדַ֣ת מַתָּנָ֗ה אֶתֵּן֙ אֶת־כְּהֻנַּתְכֶ֔ם וְהַזָּ֥ר הַקָּרֵ֖ב יוּמָֽת׃ ס

‎8 ‏וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר יְהוָה֮ אֶֽל־אַהֲרֹן֒ וַאֲנִי֙ הִנֵּ֣ה נָתַ֣תִּֽי לְךָ֔ אֶת־מִשְׁמֶ֖רֶת תְּרוּמֹתָ֑י לְכָל־קָדְשֵׁ֣י בְנֵֽי־יִ֠שְׂרָאֵל לְךָ֙ נְתַתִּ֧ים לְמָשְׁחָ֛ה וּלְבָנֶ֖יךָ לְחָק־עוֹלָֽם׃

‎9 ‏זֶֽה־יִהְיֶ֥ה לְךָ֛ מִקֹּ֥דֶשׁ הַקֳּדָשִׁ֖ים מִן־הָאֵ֑שׁ כָּל־קָ֠רְבָּנָם לְֽכָל־מִנְחָתָ֞ם וּלְכָל־חַטָּאתָ֗ם וּלְכָל־אֲשָׁמָם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יָשִׁ֣יבוּ לִ֔י קֹ֣דֶשׁ קָֽדָשִׁ֥ים לְךָ֛ ה֖וּא וּלְבָנֶֽיךָ׃

‎10 ‏בְּקֹ֥דֶשׁ הַקֳּדָשִׁ֖ים תֹּאכֲלֶ֑נּוּ כָּל־זָכָר֙ יֹאכַ֣ל אֹת֔וֹ קֹ֖דֶשׁ יִֽהְיֶה־לָּֽךְ׃

‎11 ‏וְזֶה־לְּךָ֞ תְּרוּמַ֣ת מַתָּנָ֗ם לְכָל־תְּנוּפֹת֮ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵל֒ לְךָ֣ נְתַתִּ֗ים וּלְבָנֶ֧יךָ וְלִבְנֹתֶ֛יךָ אִתְּךָ֖ לְחָק־עוֹלָ֑ם כָּל־טָה֥וֹר בְּבֵיתְךָ֖ יֹאכַ֥ל אֹתֽוֹ׃

‎12 ‏כֹּ֚ל חֵ֣לֶב יִצְהָ֔ר וְכָל־חֵ֖לֶב תִּיר֣וֹשׁ וְדָגָ֑ן רֵאשִׁיתָ֛ם אֲשֶׁר־יִתְּנ֥וּ לַֽיהוָ֖ה לְךָ֥ נְתַתִּֽים׃

‎13 ‏בִּכּוּרֵ֞י כָּל־אֲשֶׁ֧ר בְּאַרְצָ֛ם אֲשֶׁר־יָבִ֥יאוּ לַיהוָ֖ה לְךָ֣ יִהְיֶ֑ה כָּל־טָה֥וֹר בְּבֵיתְךָ֖ יֹאכֲלֶֽנּוּ׃

‎14 ‏כָּל־חֵ֥רֶם בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לְךָ֥ יִהְיֶֽה׃

‎15 ‏כָּל־פֶּ֣טֶר רֶ֠חֶם לְֽכָל־בָּשָׂ֞ר אֲשֶׁר־יַקְרִ֧יבוּ לַֽיהוָ֛ה בָּאָדָ֥ם וּבַבְּהֵמָ֖ה יִֽהְיֶה־לָּ֑ךְ אַ֣ךְ׀ פָּדֹ֣ה תִפְדֶּ֗ה אֵ֚ת בְּכ֣וֹר הָֽאָדָ֔ם וְאֵ֛ת בְּכֽוֹר־הַבְּהֵמָ֥ה הַטְּמֵאָ֖ה תִּפְדֶּֽה׃

‎16 ‏וּפְדוּיָו֙ מִבֶּן־חֹ֣דֶשׁ תִּפְדֶּ֔ה בְּעֶ֨רְכְּךָ֔ כֶּ֛סֶף חֲמֵ֥שֶׁת שְׁקָלִ֖ים בְּשֶׁ֣קֶל הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ עֶשְׂרִ֥ים גֵּרָ֖ה הֽוּא׃

‎17 ‏אַ֣ךְ בְּֽכוֹר־שׁ֡וֹר אֽוֹ־בְכ֨וֹר כֶּ֜שֶׂב אֽוֹ־בְכ֥וֹר עֵ֛ז לֹ֥א תִפְדֶּ֖ה קֹ֣דֶשׁ הֵ֑ם אֶת־דָּמָ֞ם תִּזְרֹ֤ק עַל־הַמִּזְבֵּ֙חַ֙ וְאֶת־חֶלְבָּ֣ם תַּקְטִ֔יר אִשֶּׁ֛ה לְרֵ֥יחַ נִיחֹ֖חַ לַֽיהוָֽה׃

‎18 ‏וּבְשָׂרָ֖ם יִהְיֶה־לָּ֑ךְ כַּחֲזֵ֧ה הַתְּנוּפָ֛ה וּכְשׁ֥וֹק הַיָּמִ֖ין לְךָ֥ יִהְיֶֽה׃

‎19 ‏כֹּ֣ל׀ תְּרוּמֹ֣ת הַקֳּדָשִׁ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֨ר יָרִ֥ימוּ בְנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵל֮ לַֽיהוָה֒ נָתַ֣תִּֽי לְךָ֗ וּלְבָנֶ֧יךָ וְלִבְנֹתֶ֛יךָ אִתְּךָ֖ לְחָק־עוֹלָ֑ם בְּרִית֩ מֶ֨לַח עוֹלָ֥ם הִוא֙ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֔ה לְךָ֖ וּלְזַרְעֲךָ֥ אִתָּֽךְ׃

‎20 ‏וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֜ה אֶֽל־אַהֲרֹ֗ן בְּאַרְצָם֙ לֹ֣א תִנְחָ֔ל וְחֵ֕לֶק לֹא־יִהְיֶ֥ה לְךָ֖ בְּתוֹכָ֑ם אֲנִ֤י חֶלְקְךָ֙ וְנַחֲלָ֣תְךָ֔ בְּת֖וֹךְ בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ ס

‎21 ‏וְלִבְנֵ֣י לֵוִ֔י הִנֵּ֥ה נָתַ֛תִּי כָּל־מַֽעֲשֵׂ֥ר בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לְנַחֲלָ֑ה חֵ֤לֶף עֲבֹֽדָתָם֙ אֲשֶׁר־הֵ֣ם עֹֽבְדִ֔ים אֶת־עֲבֹדַ֖ת אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃

‎22 ‏וְלֹא־יִקְרְב֥וּ ע֛וֹד בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל אֶל־אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד לָשֵׂ֥את חֵ֖טְא לָמֽוּת׃

‎23 ‏וְעָבַ֨ד הַלֵּוִ֜י ה֗וּא אֶת־עֲבֹדַת֙ אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֔ד וְהֵ֖ם יִשְׂא֣וּ עֲוֹנָ֑ם חֻקַּ֤ת עוֹלָם֙ לְדֹרֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם וּבְתוֹךְ֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל לֹ֥א יִנְחֲל֖וּ נַחֲלָֽה׃

‎24 ‏כִּ֞י אֶת־מַעְשַׂ֣ר בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל אֲשֶׁ֨ר יָרִ֤ימוּ לַֽיהוָה֙ תְּרוּמָ֔ה נָתַ֥תִּי לַלְוִיִּ֖ם לְנַחֲלָ֑ה עַל־כֵּן֙ אָמַ֣רְתִּי לָהֶ֔ם בְּתוֹךְ֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל לֹ֥א יִנְחֲל֖וּ נַחֲלָֽה׃ פ

‎25 ‏וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃

‎26 ‏וְאֶל־הַלְוִיִּ֣ם תְּדַבֵּר֮ וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ אֲלֵהֶם֒ כִּֽי־תִ֠קְחוּ מֵאֵ֨ת בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל אֶת־הַֽמַּעֲשֵׂ֗ר אֲשֶׁ֨ר נָתַ֧תִּי לָכֶ֛ם מֵאִתָּ֖ם בְּנַחֲלַתְכֶ֑ם וַהֲרֵמֹתֶ֤ם מִמֶּ֙נּוּ֙ תְּרוּמַ֣ת יְהוָ֔ה מַעֲשֵׂ֖ר מִן־הַֽמַּעֲשֵֽׂר׃

‎27 ‏וְנֶחְשַׁ֥ב לָכֶ֖ם תְּרוּמַתְכֶ֑ם כַּדָּגָן֙ מִן־הַגֹּ֔רֶן וְכַֽמְלֵאָ֖ה מִן־הַיָּֽקֶב׃

‎28 ‏כֵּ֣ן תָּרִ֤ימוּ גַם־אַתֶּם֙ תְּרוּמַ֣ת יְהוָ֔ה מִכֹּל֙ מַעְשְׂרֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֣ר תִּקְח֔וּ מֵאֵ֖ת בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וּנְתַתֶּ֤ם מִמֶּ֙נּוּ֙ אֶת־תְּרוּמַ֣ת יְהוָ֔ה לְאַהֲרֹ֖ן הַכֹּהֵֽן׃

‎29 ‏מִכֹּל֙ מַתְּנֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם תָּרִ֕ימוּ אֵ֖ת כָּל־תְּרוּמַ֣ת יְהוָ֑ה מִכָּל־חֶלְבּ֔וֹ אֶֽת־מִקְדְּשׁ֖וֹ מִמֶּֽנּוּ׃

‎30 ‏וְאָמַרְתָּ֖ אֲלֵהֶ֑ם בַּהֲרִֽימְכֶ֤ם אֶת־חֶלְבּוֹ֙ מִמֶּ֔נּוּ וְנֶחְשַׁב֙ לַלְוִיִּ֔ם כִּתְבוּאַ֥ת גֹּ֖רֶן וְכִתְבוּאַ֥ת יָֽקֶב׃

‎31 ‏וַאֲכַלְתֶּ֤ם אֹתוֹ֙ בְּכָל־מָק֔וֹם אַתֶּ֖ם וּבֵֽיתְכֶ֑ם כִּֽי־שָׂכָ֥ר הוּא֙ לָכֶ֔ם חֵ֥לֶף עֲבֹֽדַתְכֶ֖ם בְּאֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃

‎32 ‏וְלֹֽא־תִשְׂא֤וּ עָלָיו֙ חֵ֔טְא בַּהֲרִֽימְכֶ֥ם אֶת־חֶלְבּ֖וֹ מִמֶּ֑נּוּ וְאֶת־קָדְשֵׁ֧י בְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל לֹ֥א תְחַלְּל֖וּ וְלֹ֥א תָמֽוּתוּ׃ פ

1 Dixitque Dominus ad Aaron: Tu, et filii tui, et domus patris tui tecum, portabitis iniquitatem sanctuarii: et tu et filii tui simul sustinebitis peccata sacerdotii vestri.

2 Sed et fratres tuos de tribu Levi, et sceptrum patris tui sume tecum, præstoque sint, et ministrent tibi: tu autem et filii tui ministrabitis in tabernaculo testimonii.

3 Excubabuntque Levitæ ad præcepta tua, et ad cuncta opera tabernaculi: ita dumtaxat ut ad vasa sanctuarii et ad altare non accedant, ne et illi moriantur, et vos pereatis simul.

4 Sint autem tecum, et excubent in custodiis tabernaculi, et in omnibus cæremoniis ejus. Alienigena non miscebitur vobis.

5 Excubate in custodia sanctuarii, et in ministerio altaris: ne oriatur indignatio super filios Israël.

6 Ego dedi vobis fratres vestros Levitas de medio filiorum Israël, et tradidi donum Domino, ut serviant in ministeriis tabernaculi ejus.

7 Tu autem et filii tui custodite sacerdotium vestrum: et omnia quæ ad cultum altaris pertinent, et intra velum sunt, per sacerdotes administrabuntur: si quis externus accesserit, occidetur.

8 Locutusque est Dominus ad Aaron: Ecce dedi tibi custodiam primitiarum mearum. Omnia quæ sanctificantur a filiis Israël, tradidi tibi et filiis tuis pro officio sacerdotali legitima sempiterna.

9 Hæc ergo accipies de his, quæ sanctificantur et oblata sunt Domino. Omnis oblatio, et sacrificium, et quidquid pro peccato atque delicto redditur mihi, et cedit in Sancta sanctorum, tuum erit, et filiorum tuorum.

10 In sanctuario comedes illud: mares tantum edent ex eo, quia consecratum est tibi.

11 Primitias autem, quas voverint et obtulerint filii Israël, tibi dedi, et filiis tuis, ac filiabus tuis, jure perpetuo: qui mundus est in domo tua, vescetur eis.

12 Omnem medullam olei, et vini, ac frumenti, quidquid offerunt primitiarum Domino, tibi dedi.

13 Universa frugum initia, quas gignit humus, et Domino deportantur, cedent in usus tuos: qui mundus est in domo tua, vescetur eis.

14 Omne quod ex voto reddiderint filii Israël, tuum erit.

15 Quidquid primum erumpit e vulva cunctæ carnis, quam offerunt Domino, sive ex hominibus, sive de pecoribus fuerit, tui juris erit: ita dumtaxat ut pro hominis primogenito pretium accipias, et omne animal quod immundum est redimi facias,

16 cujus redemptio erit post unum mensem, siclis argenti quinque, pondere sanctuarii. Siclus viginti obolos habet.

17 Primogenitum autem bovis, et ovis, et capræ, non facies redimi, quia sanctificata sunt Domino. Sanguinem tantum eorum fundes super altare, et adipes adolebis in suavissimum odorem Domino.

18 Carnes vero in usum tuum cedent, sicut pectusculum consecratum, et armus dexter: tua erunt.

19 Omnes primitias sanctuarii, quas offerunt filii Israël Domino, tibi dedi, et filiis, ac filiabus tuis, jure perpetuo. Pactum salis est sempiternum coram Domino, tibi ac filiis tuis.

20 Dixitque Dominus ad Aaron: In terra eorum nihil possidebitis, nec habebitis partem inter eos: ego pars et hæreditas tua in medio filiorum Israël.

21 Filiis autem Levi dedi omnes decimas Israëlis in possessionem, pro ministerio, quo serviunt mihi in tabernaculo fœderis:

22 ut non accedant ultra filii Israël ad tabernaculum, nec committant peccatum mortiferum,

23 solis filiis Levi mihi in tabernaculo servientibus, et portantibus peccata populi. Legitimum sempiternum erit in generationibus vestris. Nihil aliud possidebunt,

24 decimarum oblatione contenti, quas in usus eorum et necessaria separavi.

25 Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen, dicens:

26 Præcipe Levitis, atque denuntia: Cum acceperitis a filiis Israël decimas, quas dedi vobis, primitias earum offerte Domino, id est, decimam partem decimæ,

27 ut reputetur vobis in oblationem primitivorum, tam de areis quam de torcularibus:

28 et universis quorum accipitis primitias, offerte Domino, et date Aaron sacerdoti.

29 Omnia quæ offeretis ex decimis, et in donaria Domini separabitis, optima et electa erunt.

30 Dicesque ad eos: Si præclara et meliora quæque obtuleritis ex decimis, reputabitur vobis quasi de area, et torculari dederitis primitias:

31 et comedetis eas in omnibus locis vestris, tam vos quam familiæ vestræ: quia pretium est pro ministerio, quo servitis in tabernaculo testimonii.

32 Et non peccabitis super hoc, egregia vobis et pinguia reservantes, ne polluatis oblationes filiorum Israël, et moriamini.
