1  Now when all³⁶⁰⁵ this²⁰⁶³ was finished,³⁶¹⁵ all³⁶⁰⁵ Israel³⁴⁷⁸ that were present⁴⁶⁷² went out³³¹⁸ to the cities⁵⁸⁹² of Judah,³⁰⁶³ and broke the images in pieces,^{7665 4676} and cut down¹⁴³⁸ the groves,⁸⁴² and threw down^{5422 853} the high places¹¹¹⁶ and the altars⁴¹⁹⁶ out of all^{4480 3605} Judah³⁰⁶³ and Benjamin,¹¹⁴⁴ in Ephraim⁶⁶⁹ also and Manasseh,⁴⁵¹⁹ until⁵⁷⁰⁴ they had utterly destroyed³⁶¹⁵ them all. Then all³⁶⁰⁵ the children¹¹²¹ of Israel³⁴⁷⁸ returned,⁷⁷²⁵ every man³⁷⁶ to his possession,²⁷² into their own cities.⁵⁸⁹²

2  And Hezekiah³¹⁶⁹ appointed^{5975 853} the courses⁴²⁵⁶ of the priests³⁵⁴⁸ and the Levites³⁸⁸¹ after⁵⁹²¹ their courses,⁴²⁵⁶ every man³⁷⁶ according to⁶³¹⁰ his service,⁵⁶⁵⁶ the priests³⁵⁴⁸ and Levites³⁸⁸¹ for burnt offerings⁵⁹³⁰ and for peace offerings,⁸⁰⁰² to minister,⁸³³⁴ and to give thanks,³⁰³⁴ and to praise¹⁹⁸⁴ in the gates⁸¹⁷⁹ of the tents⁴²⁶⁴ of the LORD.³⁰⁶⁸

3  He appointed also the king's⁴⁴²⁸ portion⁴⁵²¹ of⁴⁴⁸⁰ his substance⁷³⁹⁹ for the burnt offerings,⁵⁹³⁰ to wit, for the morning¹²⁴² and evening⁶¹⁵³ burnt offerings,⁵⁹³⁰ and the burnt offerings⁵⁹³⁰ for the sabbaths,⁷⁶⁷⁶ and for the new moons,²³²⁰ and for the set feasts,⁴¹⁵⁰ as it is written³⁷⁸⁹ in the law⁸⁴⁵¹ of the LORD.³⁰⁶⁸

4  Moreover he commanded⁵⁵⁹ the people⁵⁹⁷¹ that dwelt³⁴²⁷ in Jerusalem³³⁸⁹ to give⁵⁴¹⁴ the portion⁴⁵²¹ of the priests³⁵⁴⁸ and the Levites,³⁸⁸¹ that⁴⁶¹⁶ they might be encouraged²³⁸⁸ in the law⁸⁴⁵¹ of the LORD.³⁰⁶⁸

5  And as soon as the commandment¹⁶⁹⁷ came abroad,⁶⁵⁵⁵ the children¹¹²¹ of Israel³⁴⁷⁸ brought in abundance⁷²³⁵ the firstfruits⁷²²⁵ of corn,¹⁷¹⁵ wine,⁸⁴⁹² and oil,³³²³ and honey,¹⁷⁰⁶ and of all³⁶⁰⁵ the increase⁸³⁹³ of the field;⁷⁷⁰⁴ and the tithe⁴⁶⁴³ of all³⁶⁰⁵ things brought they in⁹³⁵ abundantly.⁷²³⁰

6  And concerning the children¹¹²¹ of Israel³⁴⁷⁸ and Judah,³⁰⁶³ that dwelt³⁴²⁷ in the cities⁵⁸⁹² of Judah,³⁰⁶³ they¹⁹⁹² also¹⁵⁷¹ brought in⁹³⁵ the tithe⁴⁶⁴³ of oxen¹²⁴¹ and sheep,⁶⁶²⁹ and the tithe⁴⁶⁴³ of holy things⁶⁹⁴⁴ which were consecrated⁶⁹⁴² unto the LORD³⁰⁶⁸ their God,⁴³⁰ and laid⁵⁴¹⁴ them by heaps.^{6194 6194}

7  In the third⁷⁹⁹² month²³²⁰ they began²⁴⁹⁰ to lay the foundation³²⁴⁵ of the heaps,⁶¹⁹⁴ and finished³⁶¹⁵ them in the seventh⁷⁶³⁷ month.²³²⁰

8  And when Hezekiah³¹⁶⁹ and the princes⁸²⁶⁹ came⁹³⁵ and saw^{7200 853} the heaps,⁶¹⁹⁴ they blessed^{1288 853} the LORD,³⁰⁶⁸ and his people⁵⁹⁷¹ Israel.³⁴⁷⁸

9  Then Hezekiah³¹⁶⁹ questioned¹⁸⁷⁵ with⁵⁹²¹ the priests³⁵⁴⁸ and the Levites³⁸⁸¹ concerning⁵⁹²¹ the heaps.⁶¹⁹⁴

10  And Azariah⁵⁸³⁸ the chief⁷²¹⁸ priest³⁵⁴⁸ of the house¹⁰⁰⁴ of Zadok⁶⁶⁵⁹ answered^{559 413} him, and said,⁵⁵⁹ Since the people began^{4480 2490} to bring⁹³⁵ the offerings⁸⁶⁴¹ into the house¹⁰⁰⁴ of the LORD,³⁰⁶⁸ we have had enough⁷⁶⁴⁶ to eat,³⁹⁸ and have left^{3498 5704} plenty:⁷²³⁰ for³⁵⁸⁸ the LORD³⁰⁶⁸ hath blessed^{1288 853} his people;⁵⁹⁷¹ and that which is left³⁴⁹⁸ is ⁸⁵³ this²⁰⁸⁸ great store.¹⁹⁹⁵

11  Then Hezekiah³¹⁶⁹ commanded⁵⁵⁹ to prepare³⁵⁵⁹ chambers³⁹⁵⁷ in the house¹⁰⁰⁴ of the LORD;³⁰⁶⁸ and they prepared³⁵⁵⁹ them,

12  And brought in^{935 853} the offerings⁸⁶⁴¹ and the tithes⁴⁶⁴³ and the dedicated⁶⁹⁴⁴ things faithfully:⁵³⁰ over⁵⁹²¹ which Cononiah³⁵⁶² the Levite³⁸⁷⁸ was ruler,⁵⁰⁵⁷ and Shimei⁸⁰⁹⁶ his brother²⁵¹ was the next.⁴⁹³²

13  And Jehiel,³¹⁷¹ and Azaziah,⁵⁸¹² and Nahath,⁵¹⁸⁴ and Asahel,⁶²¹⁴ and Jerimoth,³⁴⁰⁶ and Jozabad,³¹⁰⁷ and Eliel,⁴⁴⁷ and Ismachiah,³²⁵³ and Mahath,⁴²⁸⁷ and Benaiah,¹¹⁴¹ were overseers⁶⁴⁹⁶ under the hand^{4480 3027} of Cononiah³⁵⁶² and Shimei⁸⁰⁹⁶ his brother,²⁵¹ at the commandment⁴⁶⁶² of Hezekiah³¹⁶⁹ the king,⁴⁴²⁸ and Azariah⁵⁸³⁸ the ruler⁵⁰⁵⁷ of the house¹⁰⁰⁴ of God.⁴³⁰

14  And Kore⁶⁹⁸¹ the son¹¹²¹ of Imnah³²³² the Levite,³⁷⁷⁸ the porter⁷⁷⁷⁸ toward the east,⁴²¹⁷ was over⁵⁹²¹ the freewill offerings⁵⁰⁷¹ of God,⁴³⁰ to distribute⁵⁴¹⁴ the oblations⁸⁶⁴¹ of the LORD,³⁰⁶⁸ and the most holy things.^{6944 6944}

15  And next^{5921 3027} him were Eden,⁵⁷³¹ and Miniamin,⁴⁵⁰⁹ and Jeshua,³⁴⁴² and Shemaiah,⁸⁰⁹⁸ Amariah,⁵⁶⁸ and Shecaniah,⁷⁹³⁵ in the cities⁵⁸⁹² of the priests,³⁵⁴⁸ in their set office,⁵³⁰ to give⁵⁴¹⁴ to their brethren²⁵¹ by courses,⁴²⁵⁶ as well to the great¹⁴¹⁹ as to the small:⁶⁹⁹⁶

16  Beside^{4480 905} their genealogy³¹⁸⁷ of males,²¹⁴⁵ from three⁷⁹⁶⁹ years⁸¹⁴¹ old^{4480 1121} and upward,⁴⁶⁰⁵ even unto every one³⁶⁰⁵ that entereth⁹³⁵ into the house¹⁰⁰⁴ of the LORD,³⁰⁶⁸ his daily^{3117 3117} portion¹⁶⁹⁷ for their service⁵⁶⁵⁶ in their charges⁴⁹³¹ according to their courses;⁴²⁵⁶

17  Both to⁸⁵⁴ the genealogy³¹⁸⁷ of the priests³⁵⁴⁸ by the house¹⁰⁰⁴ of their fathers,¹ and the Levites³⁸⁸¹ from twenty⁶²⁴² years⁸¹⁴¹ old^{4480 1121} and upward,⁴⁶⁰⁵ in their charges⁴⁹³¹ by their courses;⁴²⁵⁶

18  And to the genealogy³¹⁸⁷ of all³⁶⁰⁵ their little ones,²⁹⁴⁵ their wives,⁸⁰² and their sons,¹¹²¹ and their daughters,¹³²³ through all³⁶⁰⁵ the congregation:⁶⁹⁵¹ for³⁵⁸⁸ in their set office⁵³⁰ they sanctified themselves⁶⁹⁴² in holiness:⁶⁹⁴⁴

19  Also of the sons¹¹²¹ of Aaron¹⁷⁵ the priests,³⁵⁴⁸ which were in the fields⁷⁷⁰⁴ of the suburbs⁴⁰⁵⁴ of their cities,⁵⁸⁹² in every³⁶⁰⁵ several city,^{5892 5892} the men³⁷⁶ that⁸³⁴ were expressed⁵³⁴⁴ by name,⁸⁰³⁴ to give⁵⁴¹⁴ portions⁴⁴⁹⁰ to all³⁶⁰⁵ the males²¹⁴⁵ among the priests,³⁵⁴⁸ and to all³⁶⁰⁵ that were reckoned by genealogies³¹⁸⁷ among the Levites.³⁸⁸¹

20  And thus²⁰⁶³ did⁶²¹³ Hezekiah³¹⁶⁹ throughout all³⁶⁰⁵ Judah,³⁰⁶³ and wrought⁶²¹³ that which was good²⁸⁹⁶ and right³⁴⁷⁷ and truth⁵⁷¹ before⁶⁴⁴⁰ the LORD³⁰⁶⁸ his God.⁴³⁰

21  And in every³⁶⁰⁵ work⁴⁶³⁹ that⁸³⁴ he began²⁴⁹⁰ in the service⁵⁶⁵⁶ of the house¹⁰⁰⁴ of God,⁴³⁰ and in the law,⁸⁴⁵¹ and in the commandments,⁴⁶⁸⁷ to seek¹⁸⁷⁵ his God,⁴³⁰ he did⁶²¹³ it with all³⁶⁰⁵ his heart,³⁸²⁴ and prospered.⁶⁷⁴³

1 καὶ ὡς συνετελέσθη πάντα ταῦτα ἐξῆλθεν πᾶς Ισραηλ οἱ εὑρεθέντες ἐν πόλεσιν Ιουδα καὶ συνέτριψαν τὰς στήλας καὶ ἐξέκοψαν τὰ ἄλση καὶ κατέσπασαν τὰ ὑψηλὰ καὶ τοὺς βωμοὺς ἀπὸ πάσης τῆς Ιουδαίας καὶ Βενιαμιν καὶ ἐξ Εφραιμ καὶ ἀπὸ Μανασση ἕως εἰς τέλος καὶ ἐπέστρεψαν πᾶς Ισραηλ ἕκαστος εἰς τὴν κληρονομίαν αὐτοῦ καὶ εἰς τὰς πόλεις αὐτῶν

2 καὶ ἔταξεν Εζεκιας τὰς ἐφημερίας τῶν ἱερέων καὶ τῶν Λευιτῶν καὶ τὰς ἐφημερίας ἑκάστου κατὰ τὴν ἑαυτοῦ λειτουργίαν τοῖς ἱερεῦσιν καὶ τοῖς Λευίταις εἰς τὴν ὁλοκαύτωσιν καὶ εἰς τὴν θυσίαν τοῦ σωτηρίου καὶ αἰνεῖν καὶ ἐξομολογεῖσθαι καὶ λειτουργεῖν ἐν ταῖς πύλαις ἐν ταῖς αὐλαῖς οἴκου κυρίου

3 καὶ μερὶς τοῦ βασιλέως ἐκ τῶν ὑπαρχόντων αὐτοῦ εἰς τὰς ὁλοκαυτώσεις τὴν πρωινὴν καὶ τὴν δειλινὴν καὶ ὁλοκαυτώσεις εἰς σάββατα καὶ εἰς τὰς νουμηνίας καὶ εἰς τὰς ἑορτὰς τὰς γεγραμμένας ἐν τῷ νόμῳ κυρίου

4 καὶ εἶπεν τῷ λαῷ τοῖς κατοικοῦσιν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ δοῦναι τὴν μερίδα τῶν ἱερέων καὶ τῶν Λευιτῶν ὅπως κατισχύσωσιν ἐν τῇ λειτουργίᾳ οἴκου κυρίου

5 καὶ ὡς προσέταξεν τὸν λόγον ἐπλεόνασαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ ἀπαρχὴν σίτου καὶ οἴνου καὶ ἐλαίου καὶ μέλιτος καὶ πᾶν γένημα ἀγροῦ καὶ ἐπιδέκατα πάντα εἰς πλῆθος ἤνεγκαν

6 οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ καὶ Ιουδα καὶ οἱ κατοικοῦντες ἐν ταῖς πόλεσιν Ιουδα καὶ αὐτοὶ ἤνεγκαν ἐπιδέκατα μόσχων καὶ προβάτων καὶ ἐπιδέκατα αἰγῶν καὶ ἡγίασαν τῷ κυρίῳ θεῷ αὐτῶν καὶ εἰσήνεγκαν καὶ ἔθηκαν σωροὺς σωρούς

7 ἐν τῷ μηνὶ τῷ τρίτῳ ἤρξαντο οἱ σωροὶ θεμελιοῦσθαι καὶ ἐν τῷ ἑβδόμῳ μηνὶ συνετελέσθησαν

8 καὶ ἦλθεν Εζεκιας καὶ οἱ ἄρχοντες καὶ εἶδον τοὺς σωροὺς καὶ ηὐλόγησαν τὸν κύριον καὶ τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ Ισραηλ

9 καὶ ἐπυνθάνετο Εζεκιας τῶν ἱερέων καὶ τῶν Λευιτῶν ὑπὲρ τῶν σωρῶν

10 καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτὸν Αζαριας ὁ ἱερεὺς ὁ ἄρχων εἰς οἶκον Σαδωκ καὶ εἶπεν ἐξ οὗ ἦρκται ἡ ἀπαρχὴ φέρεσθαι εἰς οἶκον κυρίου ἐφάγομεν καὶ ἐπίομεν καὶ κατελίπομεν ὅτι κύριος ηὐλόγησεν τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ καὶ κατελίπομεν ἔτι τὸ πλῆθος τοῦτο

11 καὶ εἶπεν Εζεκιας ἑτοιμάσαι παστοφόρια εἰς οἶκον κυρίου καὶ ἡτοίμασαν

12 καὶ εἰσήνεγκαν ἐκεῖ τὰς ἀπαρχὰς καὶ τὰ ἐπιδέκατα ἐν πίστει καὶ ἐπ᾽ αὐτῶν ἐπιστάτης Χωνενιας ὁ Λευίτης καὶ Σεμεϊ ὁ ἀδελφὸς αὐτοῦ διαδεχόμενος

13 καὶ Ιιηλ καὶ Οζαζιας καὶ Ναεθ καὶ Ασαηλ καὶ Ιεριμωθ καὶ Ιωζαβαθ καὶ Ελιηλ καὶ Σαμαχια καὶ Μααθ καὶ Βαναιας καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καθεσταμένοι διὰ Χωνενιου καὶ Σεμεϊ τοῦ ἀδελφοῦ αὐτοῦ καθὼς προσέταξεν ὁ βασιλεὺς Εζεκιας καὶ Αζαριας ὁ ἡγούμενος οἴκου κυρίου

14 καὶ Κωρη ὁ τοῦ Ιεμνα ὁ Λευίτης ὁ πυλωρὸς κατὰ ἀνατολὰς ἐπὶ τῶν δομάτων δοῦναι τὰς ἀπαρχὰς κυρίῳ καὶ τὰ ἅγια τῶν ἁγίων

15 διὰ χειρὸς Οδομ καὶ Βενιαμιν καὶ Ἰησοῦς καὶ Σεμεϊ καὶ Αμαριας καὶ Σεχονιας διὰ χειρὸς τῶν ἱερέων ἐν πίστει δοῦναι τοῖς ἀδελφοῖς αὐτῶν κατὰ τὰς ἐφημερίας κατὰ τὸν μέγαν καὶ τὸν μικρὸν

16 ἐκτὸς τῆς ἐπιγονῆς τῶν ἀρσενικῶν ἀπὸ τριετοῦς καὶ ἐπάνω παντὶ τῷ εἰσπορευομένῳ εἰς οἶκον κυρίου εἰς λόγον ἡμερῶν εἰς ἡμέραν εἰς λειτουργίαν ἐφημερίαις διατάξεως αὐτῶν

17 οὗτος ὁ καταλοχισμὸς τῶν ἱερέων κατ᾽ οἴκους πατριῶν καὶ οἱ Λευῖται ἐν ταῖς ἐφημερίαις αὐτῶν ἀπὸ εἰκοσαετοῦς καὶ ἐπάνω ἐν διατάξει

18 ἐν καταλοχίαις ἐν πάσῃ ἐπιγονῇ υἱῶν αὐτῶν καὶ θυγατέρων αὐτῶν εἰς πᾶν τὸ πλῆθος ὅτι ἐν πίστει ἥγνισαν τὸ ἅγιον

19 τοῖς υἱοῖς Ααρων τοῖς ἱερατεύουσιν καὶ οἱ ἀπὸ τῶν πόλεων αὐτῶν ἐν πάσῃ πόλει καὶ πόλει ἄνδρες οἳ ὠνομάσθησαν ἐν ὀνόματι δοῦναι μερίδα παντὶ ἀρσενικῷ ἐν τοῖς ἱερεῦσιν καὶ παντὶ καταριθμουμένῳ ἐν τοῖς Λευίταις

20 καὶ ἐποίησεν οὕτως Εζεκιας ἐν παντὶ Ιουδα καὶ ἐποίησεν τὸ καλὸν καὶ τὸ εὐθὲς ἐναντίον τοῦ κυρίου θεοῦ αὐτοῦ

21 καὶ ἐν παντὶ ἔργῳ ἐν ᾧ ἤρξατο ἐν ἐργασίᾳ ἐν οἴκῳ κυρίου καὶ ἐν τῷ νόμῳ καὶ ἐν τοῖς προστάγμασιν ἐξεζήτησεν τὸν θεὸν αὐτοῦ ἐξ ὅλης ψυχῆς αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐποίησεν καὶ εὐοδώθη

‎1 ‏וּכְכַלּ֣וֹת כָּל־זֹ֗את יָצְא֨וּ כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֥ל³ הַֽנִּמְצְאִים֮ לְעָרֵ֣י יְהוּדָה֒ וַיְשַׁבְּר֣וּ הַמַּצֵּב֣וֹת וַיְגַדְּע֣וּ הָאֲשֵׁרִ֡ים וַיְנַתְּצ֣וּ אֶת־הַ֠בָּמוֹת וְאֶת־הַֽמִּזְבְּחֹ֞ת מִכָּל־יְהוּדָ֧ה וּבִנְיָמִ֛ן וּבְאֶפְרַ֥יִם וּמְנַשֶּׁ֖ה עַד־לְכַלֵּ֑ה וַיָּשׁ֜וּבוּ כָּל־בְּנֵ֧י יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל אִ֥ישׁ לַאֲחֻזָּת֖וֹ לְעָרֵיהֶֽם׃ ס

‎2 ‏וַיַּעֲמֵ֣ד יְחִזְקִיָּ֡הוּ אֶת־מַחְלְק֣וֹת הַכֹּהֲנִ֣ים וְ֠הַלְוִיִּם עַֽל־מַחְלְקוֹתָ֞ם אִ֣ישׁ׀ כְּפִ֣י עֲבֹדָת֗וֹ לַכֹּהֲנִים֙ וְלַלְוִיִּ֔ם לְעֹלָ֖ה וְלִשְׁלָמִ֑ים לְשָׁרֵת֙ וּלְהֹד֣וֹת וּלְהַלֵּ֔ל בְּשַׁעֲרֵ֖י מַחֲנ֥וֹת יְהוָֽה׃ ס

‎3 ‏וּמְנָת֩ הַמֶּ֨לֶךְ מִן־רְכוּשׁ֜וֹ לָעֹל֗וֹת לְעֹלוֹת֙ הַבֹּ֣קֶר וְהָעֶ֔רֶב וְהָ֣עֹל֔וֹת לַשַּׁבָּת֖וֹת וְלֶחֳדָשִׁ֣ים וְלַמֹּעֲדִ֑ים כַּכָּת֖וּב בְּתוֹרַ֥ת יְהוָֽה׃

‎4 ‏וַיֹּ֤אמֶר לָעָם֙ לְיוֹשְׁבֵ֣י יְרוּשָׁלִַ֔ם לָתֵ֕ת מְנָ֥ת הַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים וְהַלְוִיִּ֑ם לְמַ֥עַן יֶחֶזְק֖וּ בְּתוֹרַ֥ת יְהוָֽה׃

‎5 ‏וְכִפְרֹ֣ץ הַדָּבָ֗ר הִרְבּ֤וּ בְנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ רֵאשִׁ֣ית דָּגָ֗ן תִּיר֤וֹשׁ וְיִצְהָר֙ וּדְבַ֔שׁ וְכֹ֖ל תְּבוּאַ֣ת שָׂדֶ֑ה וּמַעְשַׂ֥ר הַכֹּ֛ל לָרֹ֖ב הֵבִֽיאוּ׃

‎6 ‏וּבְנֵ֧י יִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל וִֽיהוּדָ֗ה הַיּֽוֹשְׁבִים֮ בְּעָרֵ֣י יְהוּדָה֒ גַּם־הֵ֗ם מַעְשַׂ֤ר בָּקָר֙ וָצֹ֔אן וּמַעְשַׂ֣ר קָֽדָשִׁ֔ים הַמְקֻדָּשִׁ֖ים לַיהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵיהֶ֑ם הֵבִ֕יאוּ וַֽיִּתְּנ֖וּ עֲרֵמ֥וֹת עֲרֵמֽוֹת׃ ס

‎7 ‏בַּחֹ֙דֶשׁ֙ הַשְּׁלִשִׁ֔י הֵחֵ֥לּוּ הָעֲרֵמ֖וֹת לְיִסּ֑וֹד וּבַחֹ֥דֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִ֖י כִּלּֽוּ׃ ס

‎8 ‏וַיָּבֹ֙אוּ֙ יְחִזְקִיָּ֣הוּ וְהַשָּׂרִ֔ים וַיִּרְא֖וּ אֶת־הָעֲרֵמ֑וֹת וַֽיְבָרֲכוּ֙ אֶת־יְהוָ֔ה וְאֵ֖ת עַמּ֥וֹ יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ פ

‎9 ‏וַיִּדְרֹ֣שׁ יְחִזְקִיָּ֗הוּ עַל־הַכֹּֽהֲנִ֛ים וְהַלְוִיִּ֖ם עַל־הָעֲרֵמֽוֹת׃

‎10 ‏וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלָ֗יו עֲזַרְיָ֧הוּ הַכֹּהֵ֛ן הָרֹ֖אשׁ לְבֵ֣ית צָד֑וֹק וַ֠יֹּאמֶר מֵהָחֵ֨ל הַתְּרוּמָ֜ה לָבִ֣יא בֵית־יְהוָ֗ה אָכ֨וֹל וְשָׂב֤וֹעַ וְהוֹתֵר֙ עַד־לָר֔וֹב כִּ֤י יְהוָה֙ בֵּרַ֣ךְ אֶת־עַמּ֔וֹ וְהַנּוֹתָ֖ר אֶת־הֶהָמ֥וֹן הַזֶּֽה׃ ס

‎11 ‏וַיֹּ֣אמֶר יְחִזְקִיָּ֗הוּ לְהָכִ֧ין לְשָׁכ֛וֹת בְּבֵ֥ית יְהוָ֖ה וַיָּכִֽינוּ׃

‎12 ‏וַיָּבִ֨יאוּ אֶת־הַתְּרוּמָ֧ה וְהַֽמַּעֲשֵׂ֛ר וְהַקֳּדָשִׁ֖ים בֶּאֱמוּנָ֑ה וַעֲלֵיהֶ֤ם נָגִיד֙ כונניהו כָּֽנַנְיָ֣הוּ^y הַלֵּוִ֔י וְשִׁמְעִ֥י אָחִ֖יהוּ מִשְׁנֶֽה׃

‎13 ‏וִֽיחִיאֵ֡ל וַ֠עֲזַזְיָהוּ וְנַ֨חַת וַעֲשָׂהאֵ֜ל וִֽירִימ֤וֹת וְיוֹזָבָד֙ וֶאֱלִיאֵ֣ל וְיִסְמַכְיָ֔הוּ וּמַ֖חַת וּבְנָיָ֑הוּ פְּקִידִ֗ים מִיַּ֤ד כונניהו כָּֽנַנְיָ֙הוּ֙ וְשִׁמְעִ֣י אָחִ֔יו בְּמִפְקַד֙ יְחִזְקִיָּ֣הוּ הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ וַעֲזַרְיָ֖הוּ נְגִ֥יד בֵּית־הָאֱלֹהִֽים׃

‎14 ‏וְקוֹרֵ֨א בֶן־יִמְנָ֤ה הַלֵּוִי֙ הַשּׁוֹעֵ֣ר לַמִּזְרָ֔חָה עַ֖ל נִדְב֣וֹת הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים לָתֵת֙ תְּרוּמַ֣ת יְהוָ֔ה וְקָדְשֵׁ֖י הַקֳּדָשִֽׁים׃

‎15 ‏וְעַל־יָד֡וֹ עֵ֣דֶן וּ֠מִנְיָמִן וְיֵשׁ֨וּעַ וּֽשְׁמַֽעְיָ֜הוּ אֲמַרְיָ֧הוּ וּשְׁכַנְיָ֛הוּ בְּעָרֵ֥י הַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים בֶּאֱמוּנָ֑ה לָתֵ֤ת לַאֲחֵיהֶם֙ בְּמַחְלְק֔וֹת כַּגָּד֖וֹל כַּקָּטָֽן׃

‎16 ‏מִלְּבַ֞ד הִתְיַחְשָׂ֣ם לִזְכָרִ֗ים מִבֶּ֨ן שָׁל֤וֹשׁ שָׁנִים֙ וּלְמַ֔עְלָה לְכָל־הַבָּ֥א לְבֵית־יְהוָ֖ה לִדְבַר־י֣וֹם בְּיוֹמ֑וֹ לַעֲב֣וֹדָתָ֔ם בְּמִשְׁמְרוֹתָ֖ם כְּמַחְלְקוֹתֵיהֶֽם׃

‎17 ‏וְאֵ֨ת הִתְיַחֵ֤שׂ הַכֹּהֲנִים֙ לְבֵ֣ית אֲבוֹתֵיהֶ֔ם וְהַ֨לְוִיִּ֔ם מִבֶּ֛ן עֶשְׂרִ֥ים שָׁנָ֖ה וּלְמָ֑עְלָה בְּמִשְׁמְרוֹתֵיהֶ֖ם בְּמַחְלְקוֹתֵיהֶֽם׃

‎18 ‏וּלְהִתְיַחֵ֗שׂ בְּכָל־טַפָּ֧ם נְשֵׁיהֶ֛ם וּבְנֵיהֶ֥ם וּבְנוֹתֵיהֶ֖ם לְכָל־קָהָ֑ל כִּ֥י בֶאֱמוּנָתָ֖ם יִתְקַדְּשׁוּ־קֹֽדֶשׁ׃

‎19 ‏וְלִבְנֵי֩ אַהֲרֹ֨ן הַכֹּהֲנִ֜ים בִּשְׂדֵ֨י מִגְרַ֤שׁ עָרֵיהֶם֙ בְּכָל־עִ֣יר וָעִ֔יר אֲנָשִׁ֕ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר נִקְּב֖וּ בְּשֵׁמ֑וֹת לָתֵ֣ת מָנ֗וֹת לְכָל־זָכָר֙ בַּכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים וּלְכָל־הִתְיַחֵ֖שׂ בַּלְוִיִּֽם׃

‎20 ‏וַיַּ֧עַשׂ כָּזֹ֛את יְחִזְקִיָּ֖הוּ בְּכָל־יְהוּדָ֑ה וַיַּ֨עַשׂ הַטּ֤וֹב וְהַיָּשָׁר֙ וְהָ֣אֱמֶ֔ת לִפְנֵ֖י יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהָֽיו׃

‎21 ‏וּבְכָֽל־מַעֲשֶׂ֞ה אֲשֶׁר־הֵחֵ֣ל׀ בַּעֲבוֹדַ֣ת בֵּית־הָאֱלֹהִ֗ים וּבַתּוֹרָה֙ וּבַמִּצְוָ֔ה לִדְרֹ֖שׁ לֵֽאלֹהָ֑יו בְּכָל־לְבָב֥וֹ עָשָׂ֖ה וְהִצְלִֽיחַ׃ פ

1 Cumque hæc fuissent rite celebrata, egressus est omnis Israël qui inventus fuerat in urbibus Juda, et fregerunt simulacra, succideruntque lucos, demoliti sunt excelsa, et altaria destruxerunt, non solum de universo Juda et Benjamin, sed et de Ephraim quoque et Manasse, donec penitus everterent: reversique sunt omnes filii Israël in possessiones et civitates suas.

2 Ezechias autem constituit turmas sacerdotales et Leviticas per divisiones suas, unumquemque in officio proprio, tam sacerdotum videlicet quam Levitarum, ad holocausta et pacifica, ut ministrarent et confiterentur, canerentque in portis castrorum Domini.

3 Pars autem regis erat, ut de propria ejus substantia offerretur holocaustum, mane semper et vespere: sabbatis quoque, et calendis, et solemnitatibus ceteris, sicut scriptum est in lege Moysi.

4 Præcepit etiam populo habitantium Jerusalem ut darent partes sacerdotibus et Levitis, ut possent vacare legi Domini.

5 Quod cum percrebruisset in auribus multitudinis, plurimas obtulere primitias filii Israël frumenti, vini, et olei: mellis quoque, et omnium quæ gignit humus, decimas obtulerunt.

6 Sed et filii Israël et Juda qui habitabant in urbibus Juda, obtulerunt decimas boum et ovium, decimasque sanctorum quæ voverant Domino Deo suo: atque universa portantes, fecerunt acervos plurimos.

7 Mense tertio cœperunt acervorum jacere fundamenta, et mense septimo compleverunt eos.

8 Cumque ingressi fuissent Ezechias et principes ejus, viderunt acervos, et benedixerunt Domino ac populo Israël.

9 Interrogavitque Ezechias sacerdotes et Levitas, cur ita jacerent acervi.

10 Respondit illi Azarias sacerdos primus de stirpe Sadoc, dicens: Ex quo cœperunt offerri primitiæ in domo Domini, comedimus, et saturati sumus, et remanserunt plurima, eo quod benedixerit Dominus populo suo: reliquarum autem copia est ista, quam cernis.

11 Præcepit igitur Ezechias ut præpararent horrea in domo Domini. Quod cum fecissent,

12 intulerunt tam primitias quam decimas, et quæcumque voverant, fideliter. Fuit autem præfectus eorum Chonenias Levita, et Semei frater ejus secundus,

13 post quem Jahiel, et Azarias, et Nahath, et Asaël, et Jerimoth, Jozabad quoque, et Eliel, et Jesmachias, et Mahath, et Banaias, præpositi sub manibus Choneniæ et Semei fratris ejus, ex imperio Ezechiæ regis et Azariæ pontificis domus Dei, ad quos omnia pertinebant.

14 Core vero filius Jemna Levites, et janitor orientalis portæ, præpositus erat iis quæ sponte offerebantur Domino, primitiisque et consecratis in Sancta sanctorum.

15 Et sub cura ejus Eden, et Benjamin, Jesue, et Semeias, Amarias quoque, et Sechenias in civitatibus sacerdotum, ut fideliter distribuerent fratribus suis partes, minoribus atque majoribus:

16 exceptis maribus ab annis tribus et supra, cunctis qui ingrediebantur templum Domini, et quidquid per singulos dies conducebat in ministerio, atque observationibus juxta divisiones suas,

17 sacerdotibus per familias, et Levitis a vigesimo anno et supra, per ordines et turmas suas,

18 universæque multitudini tam uxoribus quam liberis eorum utriusque sexus, fideliter cibi de his quæ sanctificata fuerant, præbebantur.

19 Sed et filiorum Aaron per agros, et suburbana urbium singularum, dispositi erant viri, qui partes distribuerent universo sexui masculino de sacerdotibus et Levitis.

20 Fecit ergo Ezechias universa quæ diximus in omni Juda: operatusque est bonum et rectum, et verum coram Domino Deo suo,

21 in universa cultura ministerii domus Domini, juxta legem et cæremonias, volens requirere Deum suum in toto corde suo: fecitque, et prosperatus est.
