1  So they brought^{935 853} the ark⁷²⁷ of God,⁴³⁰ and set³³²² it in the midst⁸⁴³² of the tent¹⁶⁸ that⁸³⁴ David¹⁷³² had pitched⁵¹⁸⁶ for it: and they offered⁷¹²⁶ burnt sacrifices⁵⁹³⁰ and peace offerings⁸⁰⁰² before⁶⁴⁴⁰ God.⁴³⁰

2  And when David¹⁷³² had made an end³⁶¹⁵ of offering^{4480 5927} the burnt offerings⁵⁹³⁰ and the peace offerings,⁸⁰⁰² he blessed^{1288 853} the people⁵⁹⁷¹ in the name⁸⁰³⁴ of the LORD.³⁰⁶⁸

3  And he dealt²⁵⁰⁵ to every one^{3605 376} of Israel,³⁴⁷⁸ both man^{4480 376} and woman,⁸⁰² to every one³⁷⁶ a loaf³⁶⁰³ of bread,³⁸⁹⁹ and a good piece of flesh,⁸²⁹ and a flagon⁸⁰⁹ of wine.

4  And he appointed⁵⁴¹⁴ certain of⁴⁴⁸⁰ the Levites³⁸⁸¹ to minister⁸³³⁴ before⁶⁴⁴⁰ the ark⁷²⁷ of the LORD,³⁰⁶⁸ and to record,²¹⁴² and to thank³⁰³⁴ and praise¹⁹⁸⁴ the LORD³⁰⁶⁸ God⁴³⁰ of Israel:³⁴⁷⁸

5  Asaph⁶²³ the chief,⁷²¹⁸ and next⁴⁹³² to him Zechariah,²¹⁴⁸ Jeiel,³²⁷³ and Shemiramoth,⁸⁰⁷⁰ and Jehiel,³¹⁷¹ and Mattithiah,⁴⁹⁹³ and Eliab,⁴⁴⁶ and Benaiah,¹¹⁴¹ and Obed-edom:⁵⁶⁵⁴ and Jeiel³²⁷³ with psalteries^{3627 5035} and with harps;³⁶⁵⁸ but Asaph⁶²³ made a sound⁸⁰⁸⁵ with cymbals;⁴⁷⁰⁰

6  Benaiah¹¹⁴¹ also and Jahaziel³¹⁶⁶ the priests³⁵⁴⁸ with trumpets²⁶⁸⁹ continually⁸⁵⁴⁸ before⁶⁴⁴⁰ the ark⁷²⁷ of the covenant¹²⁸⁵ of God.⁴³⁰

7  Then²²⁷ on that¹⁹³¹ day³¹¹⁷ David¹⁷³² delivered⁵⁴¹⁴ first⁷²¹⁸ this psalm to thank³⁰³⁴ the LORD³⁰⁶⁸ into the hand³⁰²⁷ of Asaph⁶²³ and his brethren.²⁵¹

8  Give thanks³⁰³⁴ unto the LORD,³⁰⁶⁸ call⁷¹²¹ upon his name,⁸⁰³⁴ make known³⁰⁴⁵ his deeds⁵⁹⁴⁹ among the people.⁵⁹⁷¹

9  Sing⁷⁸⁹¹ unto him, sing psalms²¹⁶⁷ unto him, talk⁷⁸⁷⁸ ye of all³⁶⁰⁵ his wondrous works.⁶³⁸¹

10  Glory¹⁹⁸⁴ ye in his holy⁶⁹⁴⁴ name:⁸⁰³⁴ let the heart³⁸²⁰ of them rejoice⁸⁰⁵⁵ that seek¹²⁴⁵ the LORD.³⁰⁶⁸

11  Seek¹⁸⁷⁵ the LORD³⁰⁶⁸ and his strength,⁵⁷⁹⁷ seek¹²⁴⁵ his face⁶⁴⁴⁰ continually.⁸⁵⁴⁸

12  Remember²¹⁴² his marvelous works⁶³⁸¹ that⁸³⁴ he hath done,⁶²¹³ his wonders,⁴¹⁵⁹ and the judgments⁴⁹⁴¹ of his mouth;⁶³¹⁰

13  O ye seed²²³³ of Israel³⁴⁷⁸ his servant,⁵⁶⁵⁰ ye children¹¹²¹ of Jacob,³²⁹⁰ his chosen ones.⁹⁷²

14  He¹⁹³¹ is the LORD³⁰⁶⁸ our God;⁴³⁰ his judgments⁴⁹⁴¹ are in all³⁶⁰⁵ the earth.⁷⁷⁶

15  Be ye mindful²¹⁴² always⁵⁷⁶⁹ of his covenant;¹²⁸⁵ the word¹⁶⁹⁷ which he commanded⁶⁶⁸⁰ to a thousand⁵⁰⁵ generations;¹⁷⁵⁵

16  Even of the covenant which⁸³⁴ he made³⁷⁷² with⁸⁵⁴ Abraham,⁸⁵ and of his oath⁷⁶²¹ unto Isaac;³³²⁷

17  And hath confirmed⁵⁹⁷⁵ the same to Jacob³²⁹⁰ for a law,²⁷⁰⁶ and to Israel³⁴⁷⁸ for an everlasting⁵⁷⁶⁹ covenant,¹²⁸⁵

18  Saying,⁵⁵⁹ Unto thee will I give⁵⁴¹⁴ the land⁷⁷⁶ of Canaan,³⁶⁶⁷ the lot²²⁵⁶ of your inheritance;⁵¹⁵⁹

19  When ye were¹⁹⁶¹ but few,⁴⁹⁶² even a few,⁴⁵⁹² and strangers¹⁴⁸¹ in it.

20  And when they went¹⁹⁸⁰ from nation^{4480 1471} to⁴¹³ nation,¹⁴⁷¹ and from one kingdom^{4480 4467} to⁴¹³ another³¹² people;⁵⁹⁷¹

21  He suffered⁵¹¹⁷ no³⁸⁰⁸ man³⁷⁶ to do them wrong:⁶²³¹ yea, he reproved³¹⁹⁸ kings⁴⁴²⁸ for their sakes,⁵⁹²¹

22  Saying, Touch⁵⁰⁶⁰ not⁴⁰⁸ mine anointed,⁴⁸⁹⁹ and do⁷⁴⁸⁹ my prophets⁵⁰³⁰ no⁴⁰⁸ harm.

23  Sing⁷⁸⁹¹ unto the LORD,³⁰⁶⁸ all³⁶⁰⁵ the earth;⁷⁷⁶ show forth¹³¹⁹ from day^{4480 3117} to⁴¹³ day³¹¹⁷ his salvation.³⁴⁴⁴

24  Declare^{5608 853} his glory³⁵¹⁹ among the heathen;¹⁴⁷¹ his marvelous works⁶³⁸¹ among all³⁶⁰⁵ nations.⁵⁹⁷¹

25  For³⁵⁸⁸ great¹⁴¹⁹ is the LORD,³⁰⁶⁸ and greatly³⁹⁶⁶ to be praised:¹⁹⁸⁴ he¹⁹³¹ also is to be feared³³⁷² above⁵⁹²¹ all³⁶⁰⁵ gods.⁴³⁰

26  For³⁵⁸⁸ all³⁶⁰⁵ the gods⁴³⁰ of the people⁵⁹⁷¹ are idols:⁴⁵⁷ but the LORD³⁰⁶⁸ made⁶²¹³ the heavens.⁸⁰⁶⁴

27  Glory¹⁹³⁵ and honor¹⁹²⁶ are in his presence;⁶⁴⁴⁰ strength⁵⁷⁹⁷ and gladness²³⁰⁴ are in his place.⁴⁷²⁵

28  Give³⁰⁵¹ unto the LORD,³⁰⁶⁸ ye kindreds⁴⁹⁴⁰ of the people,⁵⁹⁷¹ give³⁰⁵¹ unto the LORD³⁰⁶⁸ glory³⁵¹⁹ and strength.⁵⁷⁹⁷

29  Give³⁰⁵¹ unto the LORD³⁰⁶⁸ the glory³⁵¹⁹ due unto his name:⁸⁰³⁴ bring⁵³⁷⁵ an offering,⁴⁵⁰³ and come⁹³⁵ before⁶⁴⁴⁰ him: worship⁷⁸¹² the LORD³⁰⁶⁸ in the beauty¹⁹²⁷ of holiness.⁶⁹⁴⁴

30  Fear²³⁴² before^{4480 6440} him, all³⁶⁰⁵ the earth:⁷⁷⁶ the world⁸³⁹⁸ also⁶³⁷ shall be stable,³⁵⁵⁹ that it be not¹⁰⁷⁷ moved.⁴¹³¹

31  Let the heavens⁸⁰⁶⁴ be glad,⁸⁰⁵⁵ and let the earth⁷⁷⁶ rejoice:¹⁵²³ and let men say⁵⁵⁹ among the nations,¹⁴⁷¹ The LORD³⁰⁶⁸ reigneth.⁴⁴²⁷

32  Let the sea³²²⁰ roar,⁷⁴⁸¹ and the fullness⁴³⁹³ thereof: let the fields⁷⁷⁰⁴ rejoice,⁵⁹⁷⁰ and all³⁶⁰⁵ that⁸³⁴ is therein.

33  Then²²⁷ shall the trees⁶⁰⁸⁶ of the wood³²⁹³ sing out⁷⁴⁴² at the presence^{4480 6440} of the LORD,³⁰⁶⁸ because³⁵⁸⁸ he cometh⁹³⁵ to judge^{8199 853} the earth.⁷⁷⁶

34  O give thanks³⁰³⁴ unto the LORD;³⁰⁶⁸ for³⁵⁸⁸ he is good;²⁸⁹⁶ for³⁵⁸⁸ his mercy²⁶¹⁷ endureth forever.⁵⁷⁶⁹

35  And say⁵⁵⁹ ye, Save³⁴⁶⁷ us, O God⁴³⁰ of our salvation,³⁴⁶⁸ and gather us together,⁶⁹⁰⁸ and deliver⁵³³⁷ us from⁴⁴⁸⁰ the heathen,¹⁴⁷¹ that we may give thanks³⁰³⁴ to thy holy⁶⁹⁴⁴ name,⁸⁰³⁴ and glory⁷⁶²³ in thy praise.⁸⁴¹⁶

36  Blessed¹²⁸⁸ be the LORD³⁰⁶⁸ God⁴³⁰ of Israel³⁴⁷⁸ forever^{4480 5769} and ever.^{5704 5769} And all³⁶⁰⁵ the people⁵⁹⁷¹ said,⁵⁵⁹ Amen,⁵⁴³ and praised¹⁹⁸⁴ the LORD.³⁰⁶⁸

37  So he left⁵⁸⁰⁰ there⁸⁰³³ before⁶⁴⁴⁰ the ark⁷²⁷ of the covenant¹²⁸⁵ of the LORD³⁰⁶⁸ Asaph⁶²³ and his brethren,²⁵¹ to minister⁸³³⁴ before⁶⁴⁴⁰ the ark⁷²⁷ continually,⁸⁵⁴⁸ as every day's work required:^{1697 3117 3117}

38  And Obed-edom⁵⁶⁵⁴ with their brethren,²⁵¹ threescore⁸³⁴⁶ and eight;⁸⁰⁸³ Obed-edom⁵⁶⁵⁴ also the son¹¹²¹ of Jeduthun³⁰³⁸ and Hosah²⁶²¹ to be porters:⁷⁷⁷⁸

39  And Zadok⁶⁶⁵⁹ the priest,³⁵⁴⁸ and his brethren²⁵¹ the priests,³⁵⁴⁸ before⁶⁴⁴⁰ the tabernacle⁴⁹⁰⁸ of the LORD³⁰⁶⁸ in the high place¹¹¹⁶ that⁸³⁴ was at Gibeon,¹³⁹¹

40  To offer⁵⁹²⁷ burnt offerings⁵⁹³⁰ unto the LORD³⁰⁶⁸ upon⁵⁹²¹ the altar⁴¹⁹⁶ of the burnt offering⁵⁹³⁰ continually⁸⁵⁴⁸ morning¹²⁴² and evening,⁶¹⁵³ and to do according to all³⁶⁰⁵ that is written³⁷⁸⁹ in the law⁸⁴⁵¹ of the LORD,³⁰⁶⁸ which⁸³⁴ he commanded⁶⁶⁸⁰ Israel;³⁴⁷⁸

41  And with⁵⁹⁷³ them Heman¹⁹⁶⁸ and Jeduthun,³⁰³⁸ and the rest⁷⁶⁰⁵ that were chosen,¹³⁰⁵ who⁸³⁴ were expressed⁵³⁴⁴ by name,⁸⁰³⁴ to give thanks³⁰³⁴ to the LORD,³⁰⁶⁸ because³⁵⁸⁸ his mercy²⁶¹⁷ endureth forever;⁵⁷⁶⁹

42  And with⁵⁹⁷³ them Heman¹⁹⁶⁸ and Jeduthun³⁰³⁸ with trumpets²⁶⁸⁹ and cymbals⁴⁷⁰⁰ for those that should make a sound,⁸⁰⁸⁵ and with musical⁷⁸⁹² instruments³⁶²⁷ of God.⁴³⁰ And the sons¹¹²¹ of Jeduthun³⁰³⁸ were porters.⁸¹⁷⁹

43  And all³⁶⁰⁵ the people⁵⁹⁷¹ departed¹⁹⁸⁰ every man³⁷⁶ to his house:¹⁰⁰⁴ and David¹⁷³² returned⁵⁴³⁷ to bless^{1288 853} his house.¹⁰⁰⁴

1 καὶ εἰσήνεγκαν τὴν κιβωτὸν τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ ἀπηρείσαντο αὐτὴν ἐν μέσῳ τῆς σκηνῆς ἧς ἔπηξεν αὐτῇ Δαυιδ καὶ προσήνεγκαν ὁλοκαυτώματα καὶ σωτηρίου ἐναντίον τοῦ θεοῦ

2 καὶ συνετέλεσεν Δαυιδ ἀναφέρων ὁλοκαυτώματα καὶ σωτηρίου καὶ εὐλόγησεν τὸν λαὸν ἐν ὀνόματι κυρίου

3 καὶ διεμέρισεν παντὶ ἀνδρὶ Ισραηλ ἀπὸ ἀνδρὸς καὶ ἕως γυναικὸς τῷ ἀνδρὶ ἄρτον ἕνα ἀρτοκοπικὸν καὶ ἀμορίτην

4 καὶ ἔταξεν κατὰ πρόσωπον τῆς κιβωτοῦ διαθήκης κυρίου ἐκ τῶν Λευιτῶν λειτουργοῦντας ἀναφωνοῦντας καὶ ἐξομολογεῖσθαι καὶ αἰνεῖν κύριον τὸν θεὸν Ισραηλ

5 Ασαφ ὁ ἡγούμενος καὶ δευτερεύων αὐτῷ Ζαχαριας Ιιηλ Σεμιραμωθ Ιιηλ Ματταθιας Ελιαβ καὶ Βαναιας καὶ Αβδεδομ καὶ Ιιηλ ἐν ὀργάνοις νάβλαις καὶ κινύραις καὶ Ασαφ ἐν κυμβάλοις ἀναφωνῶν

6 καὶ Βαναιας καὶ Οζιηλ οἱ ἱερεῖς ἐν ταῖς σάλπιγξιν διὰ παντὸς ἐναντίον τῆς κιβωτοῦ τῆς διαθήκης τοῦ θεοῦ

7 ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ τότε ἔταξεν Δαυιδ ἐν ἀρχῇ τοῦ αἰνεῖν τὸν κύριον ἐν χειρὶ Ασαφ καὶ τῶν ἀδελφῶν αὐτοῦ

8 ἐξομολογεῖσθε τῷ κυρίῳ ἐπικαλεῖσθε αὐτὸν ἐν ὀνόματι αὐτοῦ γνωρίσατε ἐν λαοῖς τὰ ἐπιτηδεύματα αὐτοῦ

9 ᾄσατε αὐτῷ καὶ ὑμνήσατε αὐτῷ διηγήσασθε πᾶσιν τὰ θαυμάσια αὐτοῦ ἃ ἐποίησεν κύριος

10 αἰνεῖτε ἐν ὀνόματι ἁγίῳ αὐτοῦ εὐφρανθήσεται καρδία ζητοῦσα τὴν εὐδοκίαν αὐτοῦ

11 ζητήσατε τὸν κύριον καὶ ἰσχύσατε ζητήσατε τὸ πρόσωπον αὐτοῦ διὰ παντός

12 μνημονεύετε τὰ θαυμάσια αὐτοῦ ἃ ἐποίησεν τέρατα καὶ κρίματα τοῦ στόματος αὐτοῦ

13 σπέρμα Ισραηλ παῖδες αὐτοῦ υἱοὶ Ιακωβ ἐκλεκτοὶ αὐτοῦ

14 αὐτὸς κύριος ὁ θεὸς ἡμῶν ἐν πάσῃ τῇ γῇ τὰ κρίματα αὐτοῦ

15 μνημονεύων εἰς αἰῶνα διαθήκης αὐτοῦ λόγον αὐτοῦ ὃν ἐνετείλατο εἰς χιλίας γενεάς

16 ὃν διέθετο τῷ Αβρααμ καὶ τὸν ὅρκον αὐτοῦ τῷ Ισαακ

17 ἔστησεν αὐτὸν τῷ Ιακωβ εἰς πρόσταγμα τῷ Ισραηλ διαθήκην αἰώνιον

18 λέγων σοὶ δώσω τὴν γῆν Χανααν σχοίνισμα κληρονομίας ὑμῶν

19 ἐν τῷ γενέσθαι αὐτοὺς ὀλιγοστοὺς ἀριθμῷ ὡς ἐσμικρύνθησαν καὶ παρῴκησαν ἐν αὐτῇ

20 καὶ ἐπορεύθησαν ἀπὸ ἔθνους εἰς ἔθνος καὶ ἀπὸ βασιλείας εἰς λαὸν ἕτερον

21 οὐκ ἀφῆκεν ἄνδρα τοῦ δυναστεῦσαι αὐτοὺς καὶ ἤλεγξεν περὶ αὐτῶν βασιλεῖς

22 μὴ ἅψησθε τῶν χριστῶν μου καὶ ἐν τοῖς προφήταις μου μὴ πονηρεύεσθε

23 ᾄσατε τῷ κυρίῳ πᾶσα ἡ γῆ ἀναγγείλατε ἐξ ἡμέρας εἰς ἡμέραν σωτηρίαν αὐτοῦ

25 ὅτι μέγας κύριος καὶ αἰνετὸς σφόδρα φοβερός ἐστιν ἐπὶ πάντας τοὺς θεούς

26 ὅτι πάντες οἱ θεοὶ τῶν ἐθνῶν εἴδωλα καὶ ὁ θεὸς ἡμῶν οὐρανὸν ἐποίησεν

27 δόξα καὶ ἔπαινος κατὰ πρόσωπον αὐτοῦ ἰσχὺς καὶ καύχημα ἐν τόπῳ αὐτοῦ

28 δότε τῷ κυρίῳ πατριαὶ τῶν ἐθνῶν δότε τῷ κυρίῳ δόξαν καὶ ἰσχύν

29 δότε τῷ κυρίῳ δόξαν ὀνόματος αὐτοῦ λάβετε δῶρα καὶ ἐνέγκατε κατὰ πρόσωπον αὐτοῦ καὶ προσκυνήσατε τῷ κυρίῳ ἐν αὐλαῖς ἁγίαις αὐτοῦ

30 φοβηθήτω ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτοῦ πᾶσα ἡ γῆ κατορθωθήτω ἡ γῆ καὶ μὴ σαλευθήτω

31 εὐφρανθήτω ὁ οὐρανός καὶ ἀγαλλιάσθω ἡ γῆ καὶ εἰπάτωσαν ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν κύριος βασιλεύων

32 βομβήσει ἡ θάλασσα σὺν τῷ πληρώματι καὶ ξύλον ἀγροῦ καὶ πάντα τὰ ἐν αὐτῷ

33 τότε εὐφρανθήσεται τὰ ξύλα τοῦ δρυμοῦ ἀπὸ προσώπου κυρίου ὅτι ἦλθεν κρῖναι τὴν γῆν

34 ἐξομολογεῖσθε τῷ κυρίῳ ὅτι ἀγαθόν ὅτι εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τὸ ἔλεος αὐτοῦ

35 καὶ εἴπατε σῶσον ἡμᾶς ὁ θεὸς τῆς σωτηρίας ἡμῶν καὶ ἐξελοῦ ἡμᾶς ἐκ τῶν ἐθνῶν τοῦ αἰνεῖν τὸ ὄνομα τὸ ἅγιόν σου καὶ καυχᾶσθαι ἐν ταῖς αἰνέσεσίν σου

36 εὐλογημένος κύριος ὁ θεὸς Ισραηλ ἀπὸ τοῦ αἰῶνος καὶ ἕως τοῦ αἰῶνος καὶ ἐρεῖ πᾶς ὁ λαός αμην καὶ ᾔνεσαν τῷ κυρίῳ

37 καὶ κατέλιπον ἐκεῖ ἔναντι τῆς κιβωτοῦ διαθήκης κυρίου τὸν Ασαφ καὶ τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς αὐτοῦ τοῦ λειτουργεῖν ἐναντίον τῆς κιβωτοῦ διὰ παντὸς τὸ τῆς ἡμέρας εἰς ἡμέραν

38 καὶ Αβδεδομ καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ ἑξήκοντα καὶ ὀκτώ καὶ Αβδεδομ υἱὸς Ιδιθων καὶ Οσσα εἰς πυλωρούς

39 καὶ τὸν Σαδωκ τὸν ἱερέα καὶ τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς αὐτοῦ τοὺς ἱερεῖς ἐναντίον σκηνῆς κυρίου ἐν Βαμα τῇ ἐν Γαβαων

40 τοῦ ἀναφέρειν ὁλοκαυτώματα τῷ κυρίῳ ἐπὶ τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου τῶν ὁλοκαυτωμάτων διὰ παντὸς τὸ πρωὶ καὶ τὸ ἑσπέρας καὶ κατὰ πάντα τὰ γεγραμμένα ἐν νόμῳ κυρίου ὅσα ἐνετείλατο ἐφ᾽ υἱοῖς Ισραηλ ἐν χειρὶ Μωυσῆ τοῦ θεράποντος τοῦ θεοῦ

41 καὶ μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ Αιμαν καὶ Ιδιθων καὶ οἱ λοιποὶ ἐκλεγέντες ἐπ᾽ ὀνόματος τοῦ αἰνεῖν τὸν κύριον ὅτι εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τὸ ἔλεος αὐτοῦ

42 καὶ μετ᾽ αὐτῶν σάλπιγγες καὶ κύμβαλα τοῦ ἀναφωνεῖν καὶ ὄργανα τῶν ᾠδῶν τοῦ θεοῦ υἱοὶ Ιδιθων εἰς τὴν πύλην

43 καὶ ἐπορεύθη ἅπας ὁ λαὸς ἕκαστος εἰς τὸν οἶκον αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐπέστρεψεν Δαυιδ τοῦ εὐλογῆσαι τὸν οἶκον αὐτοῦ

‎2 ‏וַיְכַ֣ל דָּוִ֔יד מֵהַעֲל֥וֹת הָעֹלָ֖ה וְהַשְּׁלָמִ֑ים וַיְבָ֥רֶךְ אֶת־הָעָ֖ם בְּשֵׁ֥ם יְהוָֽה׃

‎3 ‏וַיְחַלֵּק֙ לְכָל־אִ֣ישׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל מֵאִ֖ישׁ וְעַד־אִשָּׁ֑ה לְאִישׁ֙ כִּכַּר־לֶ֔חֶם וְאֶשְׁפָּ֖ר וַאֲשִׁישָֽׁה׃

‎4 ‏וַיִּתֵּ֞ן לִפְנֵ֨י אֲר֧וֹן יְהוָ֛ה מִן־הַלְוִיִּ֖ם מְשָׁרְתִ֑ים וּלְהַזְכִּיר֙ וּלְהוֹד֣וֹת וּלְהַלֵּ֔ל לַיהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ פ

‎5 ‏אָסָ֥ף הָרֹ֖אשׁ וּמִשְׁנֵ֣הוּ זְכַרְיָ֑ה יְעִיאֵ֡ל וּשְׁמִֽירָמ֡וֹת וִֽיחִיאֵ֡ל וּמַתִּתְיָ֡ה וֶאֱלִיאָ֡ב וּבְנָיָהוּ֩ וְעֹבֵ֨ד אֱדֹ֜ם וִֽיעִיאֵ֗ל בִּכְלֵ֤י נְבָלִים֙ וּבְכִנֹּר֔וֹת וְאָסָ֖ף בַּֽמְצִלְתַּ֥יִם מַשְׁמִֽיעַ׃

‎6 ‏וּבְנָיָ֥הוּ וְיַחֲזִיאֵ֖ל הַכֹּהֲנִ֑ים בַּחֲצֹצְר֣וֹת תָּמִ֔יד לִפְנֵ֖י אֲר֥וֹן בְּרִית־הָאֱלֹהִֽים׃

‎7 ‏בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא אָ֣ז נָתַ֤ן דָּוִיד֙ בָּרֹ֔אשׁ לְהֹד֖וֹת לַיהוָ֑ה בְּיַד־אָסָ֖ף וְאֶחָֽיו׃ פ

‎8 ‏הוֹד֤וּ לַֽיהוָה֙ קִרְא֣וּ בִשְׁמ֔וֹ הוֹדִ֥יעוּ בָעַמִּ֖ים עֲלִילֹתָֽיו׃

‎9 ‏שִׁ֤ירוּ לוֹ֙ זַמְּרוּ־ל֔וֹ שִׂ֖יחוּ בְּכָל־נִפְלְאֹתָֽיו׃

‎10 ‏הִֽתְהַֽלְלוּ֙ בְּשֵׁ֣ם קָדְשׁ֔וֹ יִשְׂמַ֕ח לֵ֖ב מְבַקְשֵׁ֥י יְהוָֽה׃

‎11 ‏דִּרְשׁ֤וּ יְהוָה֙ וְעֻזּ֔וֹ בַּקְּשׁ֥וּ פָנָ֖יו תָּמִֽיד׃

‎12 ‏זִכְר֗וּ נִפְלְאֹתָיו֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשָׂ֔ה מֹפְתָ֖יו וּמִשְׁפְּטֵי־פִֽיהוּ׃

‎13 ‏זֶ֚רַע יִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל עַבְדּ֔וֹ בְּנֵ֥י יַעֲקֹ֖ב בְּחִירָֽיו׃

‎14 ‏ה֚וּא יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵ֔ינוּ בְּכָל־הָאָ֖רֶץ מִשְׁפָּטָֽיו׃

‎15 ‏זִכְר֤וּ לְעוֹלָם֙ בְּרִית֔וֹ דָּבָ֥ר צִוָּ֖ה לְאֶ֥לֶף דּֽוֹר׃

‎16 ‏אֲשֶׁ֤ר כָּרַת֙ אֶת־אַבְרָהָ֔ם וּשְׁבוּעָת֖וֹ לְיִצְחָֽק׃

‎17 ‏וַיַּעֲמִידֶ֤הָ לְיַעֲקֹב֙ לְחֹ֔ק לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל בְּרִ֥ית עוֹלָֽם׃

‎18 ‏לֵאמֹ֗ר לְךָ֙ אֶתֵּ֣ן אֶֽרֶץ־כְּנָ֔עַן חֶ֖בֶל נַחֲלַתְכֶֽם׃

‎19 ‏בִּֽהְיֽוֹתְכֶם֙ מְתֵ֣י מִסְפָּ֔ר כִּמְעַ֖ט וְגָרִ֥ים בָּֽהּ׃

‎20 ‏וַיִּֽתְהַלְּכוּ֙ מִגּ֣וֹי אֶל־גּ֔וֹי וּמִמַּמְלָכָ֖ה אֶל־עַ֥ם אַחֵֽר׃

‎21 ‏לֹא־הִנִּ֤יחַ לְאִישׁ֙ לְעָשְׁקָ֔ם וַיּ֥וֹכַח עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם מְלָכִֽים׃

‎22 ‏אַֽל־תִּגְּעוּ֙ בִּמְשִׁיחָ֔י וּבִנְבִיאַ֖י אַל־תָּרֵֽעוּ׃ פ

‎23 ‏שִׁ֤ירוּ לַֽיהוָה֙ כָּל־הָאָ֔רֶץ בַּשְּׂר֥וּ מִיּֽוֹם־אֶל־י֖וֹם יְשׁוּעָתֽוֹ׃

‎24 ‏סַפְּר֤וּ בַגּוֹיִם֙ אֶת־כְּבוֹד֔וֹ בְּכָל־הָעַמִּ֖ים נִפְלְאֹתָֽיו׃

‎25 ‏כִּי֩ גָד֨וֹל יְהוָ֤ה וּמְהֻלָּל֙ מְאֹ֔ד וְנוֹרָ֥א ה֖וּא עַל־כָּל־אֱלֹהִֽים׃

‎26 ‏כִּ֠י כָּל־אֱלֹהֵ֤י הָעַמִּים֙ אֱלִילִ֔ים וַיהוָ֖ה שָׁמַ֥יִם עָשָֽׂה׃

‎27 ‏ה֤וֹד וְהָדָר֙ לְפָנָ֔יו עֹ֥ז וְחֶדְוָ֖ה בִּמְקֹמֽוֹ׃

‎28 ‏הָב֤וּ לַֽיהוָה֙ מִשְׁפְּח֣וֹת עַמִּ֔ים הָב֥וּ לַיהוָ֖ה כָּב֥וֹד וָעֹֽז׃

‎29 ‏הָב֥וּ לַיהוָ֖ה כְּב֣וֹד שְׁמ֑וֹ שְׂא֤וּ מִנְחָה֙ וּבֹ֣אוּ לְפָנָ֔יו הִשְׁתַּחֲו֥וּ לַיהוָ֖ה בְּהַדְרַת־קֹֽדֶשׁ׃

‎30 ‏חִ֤ילוּ מִלְּפָנָיו֙ כָּל־הָאָ֔רֶץ אַף־תִּכּ֥וֹן תֵּבֵ֖ל בַּל־תִּמּֽוֹט׃

‎31 ‏יִשְׂמְח֤וּ הַשָּׁמַ֙יִם֙ וְתָגֵ֣ל הָאָ֔רֶץ וְיֹאמְר֥וּ בַגּוֹיִ֖ם יְהוָ֥ה מָלָֽךְ׃

‎32 ‏יִרְעַ֤ם הַיָּם֙ וּמְלוֹא֔וֹ יַעֲלֹ֥ץ הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה וְכָל־אֲשֶׁר־בּֽוֹ׃

‎33 ‏אָ֥ז יְרַנְּנ֖וּ עֲצֵ֣י הַיָּ֑עַר מִלִּפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֔ה כִּי־בָ֖א לִשְׁפּ֥וֹט אֶת־הָאָֽרֶץ׃

‎34 ‏הוֹד֤וּ לַיהוָה֙ כִּ֣י ט֔וֹב כִּ֥י לְעוֹלָ֖ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃

‎35 ‏וְאִמְר֕וּ הוֹשִׁיעֵ֙נוּ֙ אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׁעֵ֔נוּ וְקַבְּצֵ֥נוּ וְהַצִּילֵ֖נוּ מִן־הַגּוֹיִ֑ם לְהֹדוֹת֙ לְשֵׁ֣ם קָדְשֶׁ֔ךָ לְהִשְׁתַּבֵּ֖חַ בִּתְהִלָּתֶֽךָ׃

‎36 ‏בָּר֤וּךְ יְהוָה֙ אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל מִן־הָעוֹלָ֖ם וְעַ֣ד הָעֹלָ֑ם וַיֹּאמְר֤וּ כָל־הָעָם֙ אָמֵ֔ן וְהַלֵּ֖ל לַֽיהוָֽה׃ פ

‎37 ‏וַיַּֽעֲזָב־שָׁ֗ם לִפְנֵי֙ אֲר֣וֹן בְּרִית־יְהוָ֔ה לְאָסָ֖ף וּלְאֶחָ֑יו לְשָׁרֵ֞ת לִפְנֵ֧י הָאָר֛וֹן תָּמִ֖יד לִדְבַר־י֥וֹם בְּיוֹמֽוֹ׃

‎38 ‏וְעֹבֵ֥ד אֱדֹ֛ם וַאֲחֵיהֶ֖ם שִׁשִּׁ֣ים וּשְׁמוֹנָ֑ה וְעֹבֵ֨ד אֱדֹ֧ם בֶּן־יְדִית֛וּן וְחֹסָ֖ה לְשֹׁעֲרִֽים׃

‎39 ‏וְאֵ֣ת׀ צָד֣וֹק הַכֹּהֵ֗ן וְאֶחָיו֙ הַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים לִפְנֵ֖י מִשְׁכַּ֣ן יְהוָ֑ה בַּבָּמָ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר בְּגִבְעֽוֹן׃

‎40 ‏לְֽהַעֲלוֹת֩ עֹל֨וֹת לַיהוָ֜ה עַל־מִזְבַּ֧ח הָעֹלָ֛ה תָּמִ֖יד לַבֹּ֣קֶר וְלָעָ֑רֶב וּלְכָל־הַכָּתוּב֙ בְּתוֹרַ֣ת יְהוָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר צִוָּ֖ה עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

‎41 ‏וְעִמָּהֶם֙ הֵימָ֣ן וִֽידוּת֔וּן וּשְׁאָר֙ הַבְּרוּרִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר נִקְּב֖וּ בְּשֵׁמ֑וֹת לְהֹדוֹת֙ לַֽיהוָ֔ה כִּ֥י לְעוֹלָ֖ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃

‎42 ‏וְעִמָּהֶם֩ הֵימָ֨ן וִֽידוּת֜וּן חֲצֹצְר֤וֹת³ וּמְצִלְתַּ֙יִם֙ לְמַשְׁמִיעִ֔ים וּכְלֵ֖י שִׁ֣יר הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים וּבְנֵ֥י יְדוּת֖וּן לַשָּֽׁעַר׃

‎43 ‏וַיֵּלְכ֥וּ כָל־הָעָ֖ם אִ֣ישׁ לְבֵית֑וֹ וַיִּסֹּ֥ב דָּוִ֖יד לְבָרֵ֥ךְ אֶת־בֵּיתֽוֹ׃ פ

Vul

1 Attulerunt igitur arcam Dei, et constituerunt eam in medio tabernaculi quod tetenderat ei David: et obtulerunt holocausta et pacifica coram Deo.

2 Cumque complesset David offerens holocausta et pacifica, benedixit populo in nomine Domini.

3 Et divisit universis per singulos, a viro usque ad mulierem, tortam panis, et partem assæ carnis bubalæ, et frixam oleo similam.

4 Constituitque coram arca Domini de Levitis, qui ministrarent, et recordarentur operum ejus, et glorificarent atque laudarent Dominum Deum Israël:

5 Asaph principem, et secundum ejus Zachariam: porro Jahiel, et Semiramoth, et Jehiel, et Mathathiam, et Eliab, et Banaiam, et Obededom: Jehiel super organa psalterii et lyras: Asaph autem ut cymbalis personaret:

6 Banaiam vero et Jaziel sacerdotes canere tuba jugiter coram arca fœderis Domini.

7 In illo die fecit David principem ad confitendum Domino Asaph et fratres ejus:

8 [Confitemini Domino, et invocate nomen ejus:
notas facite in populis adinventiones ejus.

9 Cantate ei, et psallite ei,
et narrate omnia mirabilia ejus.

10 Laudate nomen sanctum ejus:
lætetur cor quærentium Dominum.

11 Quærite Dominum, et virtutem ejus:
quærite faciem ejus semper.

12 Recordamini mirabilium ejus quæ fecit;
signorum illius, et judiciorum oris ejus,

13 semen Israël servi ejus,
filii Jacob electi ejus.

14 Ipse Dominus Deus noster:
in universa terra judicia ejus.

15 Recordamini in sempiternum pacti ejus:
sermonis quem præcepit in mille generationes,

16 quem pepigit cum Abraham,
et juramenti illius cum Isaac.

17 Et constituit illud Jacob in præceptum,
et Israël in pactum sempiternum,

18 dicens: Tibi dabo terram Chanaan,
funiculum hæreditatis vestræ:

19 cum essent pauci numero,
parvi et coloni ejus.

20 Et transierunt de gente in gentem,
et de regno ad populum alterum.

21 Non dimisit quemquam calumniari eos,
sed increpavit pro eis reges.

22 Nolite tangere christos meos,
et in prophetis meis nolite malignari.

23 Cantate Domino omnis terra;
annuntiate ex die in diem salutare ejus:

24 narrate in gentibus gloriam ejus;
in cunctis populis mirabilia ejus.

25 Quia magnus Dominus, et laudabilis nimis,
et horribilis super omnes deos.

26 Omnes enim dii populorum idola:
Dominus autem cælos fecit.

27 Confessio et magnificentia coram eo:
fortitudo et gaudium in loco ejus.

28 Afferte Domino, familiæ populorum:
afferte Domino gloriam et imperium.

29 Date Domino gloriam;
nomini ejus levate sacrificium,
et venite in conspectu ejus:
et adorate Dominum in decore sancto.

30 Commoveatur a facie ejus omnis terra:
ipse enim fundavit orbem immobilem.

31 Lætentur cæli, et exultet terra,
et dicant in nationibus: Dominus regnavit.

32 Tonet mare et plenitudo ejus;
exultent agri, et omnia quæ in eis sunt.

33 Tunc laudabunt ligna saltus coram Domino:
quia venit judicare terram.

34 Confitemini Domino, quoniam bonus:
quoniam in æternum misericordia ejus.

35 Et dicite: Salva nos, Deus salvator noster,
et congrega nos, et erue de gentibus:
ut confiteamur nomini sancto tuo,
et exultemus in carminibus tuis.

36 Benedictus Dominus Deus Israël,
ab æterno usque in æternum.] Et dicat omnis populo: Amen, et hymnum Domino.

37 Reliquit itaque ibi coram arca fœderis Domini Asaph et fratres ejus, ut ministrarent in conspectu arcæ jugiter per singulos dies, et vices suas.

38 Porro Obededom, et fratres ejus sexaginta octo: et Obededom filium Idithun, et Hosa, constituit janitores;

39 Sadoc autem sacerdotem, et fratres ejus sacerdotes, coram tabernaculo Domini in excelso quod erat in Gabaon,

40 ut offerrent holocausta Domino super altare holocautomatis jugiter, mane et vespere, juxta omnia quæ scripta sunt in lege Domini, quam præcepit Israëli.

41 Et post eum Heman, et Idithun, et reliquos electos, unumquemque vocabulo suo ad confitendum Domino, quoniam in æternum misericordia ejus.

42 Heman quoque et Idithun canentes tuba, et quatientes cymbala et omnia musicorum organa ad canendum Deo: filios autem Idithun fecit esse portarios.

43 Reversusque est omnis populus in domum suam: et David, ut benediceret etiam domui suæ.
