1  So all³⁶⁰⁵ Israel³⁴⁷⁸ were reckoned by genealogies;³¹⁸⁷ and, behold,²⁰⁰⁹ they were written³⁷⁸⁹ in⁵⁹²¹ the book⁵⁶¹² of the kings⁴⁴²⁸ of Israel³⁴⁷⁸ and Judah,³⁰⁶³ who were carried away¹⁵⁴⁰ to Babylon⁸⁹⁴ for their transgression.⁴⁶⁰⁴

2  Now the first⁷²²³ inhabitants³⁴²⁷ that⁸³⁴ dwelt in their possessions²⁷² in their cities⁵⁸⁹² were, the Israelites,³⁴⁷⁸ the priests,³⁵⁴⁸ Levites,³⁸⁸¹ and the Nethinims.⁵⁴¹¹

3  And in Jerusalem³³⁸⁹ dwelt³⁴²⁷ of⁴⁴⁸⁰ the children¹¹²¹ of Judah,³⁰⁶³ and of⁴⁴⁸⁰ the children¹¹²¹ of Benjamin,¹¹⁴⁴ and of⁴⁴⁸⁰ the children¹¹²¹ of Ephraim,⁶⁶⁹ and Manasseh;⁴⁵¹⁹

4  Uthai⁵⁷⁹³ the son¹¹²¹ of Ammihud,⁵⁹⁸⁹ the son¹¹²¹ of Omri,⁶⁰¹⁸ the son¹¹²¹ of Imri,⁵⁶⁶ the son¹¹²¹ of Bani,¹¹³⁷ of the children^{4480 1121} of Pharez⁶⁵⁵⁷ the son¹¹²¹ of Judah.³⁰⁶³

5  And of⁴⁴⁸⁰ the Shilonites;⁷⁸⁸⁸ Asaiah⁶²²² the firstborn,¹⁰⁶⁰ and his sons.¹¹²¹

6  And of⁴⁴⁸⁰ the sons¹¹²¹ of Zerah;²²²⁶ Jeuel,³²⁶² and their brethren,²⁵¹ six⁸³³⁷ hundred³⁹⁶⁷ and ninety.⁸⁶⁷³

7  And of⁴⁴⁸⁰ the sons¹¹²¹ of Benjamin;¹¹⁴⁴ Sallu⁵⁵⁴³ the son¹¹²¹ of Meshullam,⁴⁹¹⁸ the son¹¹²¹ of Hodaviah,¹⁹³⁸ the son¹¹²¹ of Hasenuah,⁵⁵⁷⁴

8  And Ibneiah²⁹⁹⁷ the son¹¹²¹ of Jeroham,³³⁹⁵ and Elah⁴²⁵ the son¹¹²¹ of Uzzi,⁵⁸¹³ the son¹¹²¹ of Michri,⁴³⁸¹ and Meshullam⁴⁹¹⁸ the son¹¹²¹ of Shephathiah,⁸²⁰³ the son¹¹²¹ of Reuel,⁷⁴⁶⁷ the son¹¹²¹ of Ibnijah;²⁹⁹⁸

9  And their brethren,²⁵¹ according to their generations,⁸⁴³⁵ nine⁸⁶⁷² hundred³⁹⁶⁷ and fifty²⁵⁷² and six.⁸³³⁷ All³⁶⁰⁵ these⁴²⁸ men³⁷⁶ were chief⁷²¹⁸ of the fathers¹ in the house¹⁰⁰⁴ of their fathers.¹

10  And of⁴⁴⁸⁰ the priests;³⁵⁴⁸ Jedaiah,³⁰⁴⁸ and Jehoiarib,³⁰⁸⁰ and Jachin,³¹⁹⁹

11  And Azariah⁵⁸³⁸ the son¹¹²¹ of Hilkiah,²⁵¹⁸ the son¹¹²¹ of Meshullam,⁴⁹¹⁸ the son¹¹²¹ of Zadok,⁶⁶⁵⁹ the son¹¹²¹ of Meraioth,⁴⁸¹² the son¹¹²¹ of Ahitub,²⁸⁵ the ruler⁵⁰⁵⁷ of the house¹⁰⁰⁴ of God;⁴³⁰

12  And Adaiah⁵⁷¹⁸ the son¹¹²¹ of Jeroham,³³⁹⁵ the son¹¹²¹ of Pashur,⁶⁵⁸³ the son¹¹²¹ of Malchijah,⁴⁴⁴¹ and Maasiai⁴⁶⁴⁰ the son¹¹²¹ of Adiel,⁵⁷¹⁷ the son¹¹²¹ of Jahzerah,³¹⁷⁰ the son¹¹²¹ of Meshullam,⁴⁹¹⁸ the son¹¹²¹ of Meshillemith,⁴⁹²¹ the son¹¹²¹ of Immer;⁵⁶⁴

13  And their brethren,²⁵¹ heads⁷²¹⁸ of the house¹⁰⁰⁴ of their fathers,¹ a thousand⁵⁰⁵ and seven⁷⁶⁵¹ hundred³⁹⁶⁷ and threescore;⁸³⁴⁶ very able men^{1368 2428} for the work⁴³⁹⁹ of the service⁵⁶⁵⁶ of the house¹⁰⁰⁴ of God.⁴³⁰

14  And of⁴⁴⁸⁰ the Levites;³⁸⁸¹ Shemaiah⁸⁰⁹⁸ the son¹¹²¹ of Hasshub,²⁸¹⁵ the son¹¹²¹ of Azrikam,⁵⁸⁴⁰ the son¹¹²¹ of Hashabiah,²⁸¹¹ of⁴⁴⁸⁰ the sons¹¹²¹ of Merari;⁴⁸⁴⁷

15  And Bakbakkar,¹²³⁰ Heresh,²⁷⁹² and Galal,¹⁵⁵⁹ and Mattaniah⁴⁹⁸³ the son¹¹²¹ of Micah,⁴³¹⁶ the son¹¹²¹ of Zichri,²¹⁴⁷ the son¹¹²¹ of Asaph;⁶²³

16  And Obadiah⁵⁶⁶² the son¹¹²¹ of Shemaiah,⁸⁰⁹⁸ the son¹¹²¹ of Galal,¹⁵⁵⁹ the son¹¹²¹ of Jeduthun,³⁰³⁸ and Berechiah¹²⁹⁶ the son¹¹²¹ of Asa,⁶⁰⁹ the son¹¹²¹ of Elkanah,⁵¹¹ that dwelt³⁴²⁷ in the villages²⁶⁹¹ of the Netophathites.⁵²⁰⁰

17  And the porters⁷⁷⁷⁸ were, Shallum,⁷⁹⁶⁷ and Akkub,⁶¹²⁶ and Talmon,²⁹²⁹ and Ahiman,²⁸⁹ and their brethren:²⁵¹ Shallum⁷⁹⁶⁷ was the chief;⁷²¹⁸

18  Who hitherto^{5704 2008} waited in the king's⁴⁴²⁸ gate⁸¹⁷⁹ eastward:⁴²¹⁷ they¹⁹⁹² were porters⁷⁷⁷⁸ in the companies⁴²⁶⁴ of the children¹¹²¹ of Levi.³⁸⁷⁸

19  And Shallum⁷⁹⁶⁷ the son¹¹²¹ of Kore,⁶⁹⁸¹ the son¹¹²¹ of Ebiasaph,⁴³ the son¹¹²¹ of Korah,⁷¹⁴¹ and his brethren,²⁵¹ of the house¹⁰⁰⁴ of his father,¹ the Korahites,⁷¹⁴⁵ were over⁵⁹²¹ the work⁴³⁹⁹ of the service,⁵⁶⁵⁶ keepers⁸¹⁰⁴ of the gates⁵⁵⁹² of the tabernacle:¹⁶⁸ and their fathers,¹ being over⁵⁹²¹ the host⁴²⁶⁴ of the LORD,³⁰⁶⁸ were keepers⁸¹⁰⁴ of the entry.³⁹⁹⁶

20  And Phinehas⁶³⁷² the son¹¹²¹ of Eleazar⁴⁹⁹ was¹⁹⁶¹ the ruler⁵⁰⁵⁷ over⁵⁹²¹ them in time past,⁶⁴⁴⁰ and the LORD³⁰⁶⁸ was with⁵⁹⁷³ him.

21  And Zechariah²¹⁴⁸ the son¹¹²¹ of Meshelemiah⁴⁹²⁰ was porter⁷⁷⁷⁸ of the door⁶⁶⁰⁷ of the tabernacle¹⁶⁸ of the congregation.⁴¹⁵⁰

22  All³⁶⁰⁵ these which were chosen¹³⁰⁵ to be porters⁷⁷⁷⁸ in the gates⁵⁵⁹² were two hundred³⁹⁶⁷ and twelve.^{8147 6240} These¹⁹⁹² were reckoned by their genealogy³¹⁸⁷ in their villages,²⁶⁹¹ whom David¹⁷³² and Samuel⁸⁰⁵⁰ the seer⁷²⁰³ did ordain³²⁴⁵ in their set office.⁵³⁰

23  So they¹⁹⁹² and their children¹¹²¹ had the oversight⁵⁹²¹ of the gates⁸¹⁷⁹ of the house¹⁰⁰⁴ of the LORD,³⁰⁶⁸ namely, the house¹⁰⁰⁴ of the tabernacle,¹⁶⁸ by wards.⁴⁹³¹

24  In four⁷⁰² quarters⁷³⁰⁷ were¹⁹⁶¹ the porters,⁷⁷⁷⁸ toward the east,⁴²¹⁷ west,³²²⁰ north,⁶⁸²⁸ and south.⁵⁰⁴⁵

25  And their brethren,²⁵¹ which were in their villages,²⁶⁹¹ were to come⁹³⁵ after seven⁷⁶⁵¹ days³¹¹⁷ from time^{4480 6256} to⁴¹³ time⁶²⁵⁶ with⁵⁹⁷³ them.⁴²⁸

26  For³⁵⁸⁸ these¹⁹⁹² Levites,³⁸⁸¹ the four⁷⁰² chief¹³⁶⁸ porters,⁷⁷⁷⁸ were in their set office,⁵³⁰ and were¹⁹⁶¹ over⁵⁹²¹ the chambers³⁹⁵⁷ and treasuries²¹⁴ of the house¹⁰⁰⁴ of God.⁴³⁰

27  And they lodged³⁸⁸⁵ round about⁵⁴³⁹ the house¹⁰⁰⁴ of God,⁴³⁰ because³⁵⁸⁸ the charge⁴⁹³¹ was upon⁵⁹²¹ them, and the opening⁴⁶⁶⁸ thereof every morning^{1242 1242} pertained to them.¹⁹⁹²

28  And certain of⁴⁴⁸⁰ them had the charge of⁵⁹²¹ the ministering⁵⁶⁵⁶ vessels,³⁶²⁷ that³⁵⁸⁸ they should bring them in⁹³⁵ and out³³¹⁸ by tale.⁴⁵⁵⁷

29  Some of⁴⁴⁸⁰ them also were appointed⁴⁴⁸⁷ to oversee⁵⁹²¹ the vessels,³⁶²⁷ and all³⁶⁰⁵ the instruments³⁶²⁷ of the sanctuary,⁶⁹⁴⁴ and the fine flour,⁵⁵⁶⁰ and the wine,³¹⁹⁶ and the oil,⁸⁰⁸¹ and the frankincense,³⁸²⁸ and the spices.¹³¹⁴

30  And some of⁴⁴⁸⁰ the sons¹¹²¹ of the priests³⁵⁴⁸ made⁷⁵⁴³ the ointment⁴⁸⁴² of the spices.¹³¹⁴

31  And Mattithiah,⁴⁹⁹³ one of⁴⁴⁸⁰ the Levites,³⁸⁸¹ who¹⁹³¹ was the firstborn¹⁰⁶⁰ of Shallum⁷⁹⁶⁷ the Korahite,⁷¹⁴⁵ had the set office⁵³⁰ over⁵⁹²¹ the things that were made⁴⁶³⁹ in the pans.²²⁸¹

32  And other of⁴⁴⁸⁰ their brethren,²⁵¹ of the sons¹¹²¹ of⁴⁴⁸⁰ the Kohathites,⁶⁹⁵⁶ were over⁵⁹²¹ the shewbread,^{3899 4635} to prepare³⁵⁵⁹ it every sabbath.^{7676 7676}

33  And these⁴²⁸ are the singers,⁷⁸⁹¹ chief⁷²¹⁸ of the fathers¹ of the Levites,³⁸⁸¹ who remaining in the chambers³⁹⁵⁷ were free:⁶³⁶² for³⁵⁸⁸ they were employed⁵⁹²¹ in that work⁴³⁹⁹ day³¹¹⁹ and night.³⁹¹⁵

34  These⁴²⁸ chief⁷²¹⁸ fathers¹ of the Levites³⁸⁸¹ were chief⁷²¹⁸ throughout their generations;⁸⁴³⁵ these⁴²⁸ dwelt³⁴²⁷ at Jerusalem.³³⁸⁹

35  And in Gibeon¹³⁹¹ dwelt³⁴²⁷ the father¹ of Gibeon,¹³⁹¹ Jehiel,³²⁷³ whose wife's⁸⁰² name⁸⁰³⁴ was Maachah:⁴⁶⁰¹

36  And his firstborn¹⁰⁶⁰ son¹¹²¹ Abdon,⁵⁶⁵⁸ then Zur,⁶⁶⁹⁸ and Kish,⁷⁰²⁷ and Baal,¹¹⁶⁸ and Ner,⁵³⁶⁹ and Nadab,⁵⁰⁷⁰

37  And Gedor,¹⁴⁴⁶ and Ahio,²⁸³ and Zechariah,²¹⁴⁸ and Mikloth.⁴⁷³²

38  And Mikloth⁴⁷³² begot^{3205 853} Shimeam.⁸⁰⁴³ And they¹⁹⁹² also⁶³⁷ dwelt³⁴²⁷ with⁵⁹⁷³ their brethren²⁵¹ at Jerusalem,³³⁸⁹ over against⁵⁰⁴⁸ their brethren.²⁵¹

39  And Ner⁵³⁶⁹ begot^{3205 853} Kish;⁷⁰²⁷ and Kish⁷⁰²⁷ begot^{3205 853} Saul;⁷⁵⁸⁶ and Saul⁷⁵⁸⁶ begot^{3205 853} Jonathan,³⁰⁸³ and Malchi-shua,⁴⁴⁴⁴ and Abinadab,⁴¹ and Esh-baal.⁷⁹²

40  And the son¹¹²¹ of Jonathan³⁰⁸³ was Merib-baal:⁴⁸⁰⁷ and Merib-baal⁴⁸¹⁰ begot^{3205 853} Micah.⁴³¹⁸

41  And the sons¹¹²¹ of Micah⁴³¹⁸ were, Pithon,⁶³⁷⁷ and Melech,⁴⁴²⁹ and Tahrea,⁸⁴⁷⁵ and Ahaz.

42  And Ahaz²⁷¹ begot^{3205 853} Jarah;³²⁹⁴ and Jarah³²⁹⁴ begot^{3205 853} Alemeth,⁵⁹⁶⁴ and Azmaveth,⁵⁸²⁰ and Zimri;²¹⁷⁴ and Zimri²¹⁷⁴ begot^{3205 853} Moza;⁴¹⁶²

43  And Moza⁴¹⁶² begot^{3205 853} Binea;¹¹⁵⁰ and Rephaiah⁷⁵⁰⁹ his son,¹¹²¹ Eleasah⁵⁰¹ his son,¹¹²¹ Azel⁶⁸² his son.¹¹²¹

44  And Azel⁶⁸² had six⁸³³⁷ sons,¹¹²¹ whose names⁸⁰³⁴ are these,⁴²⁸ Azrikam,⁵⁸⁴⁰ Bocheru,¹⁰⁷⁴ and Ishmael,³⁴⁵⁸ and Sheariah,⁸¹⁸⁷ and Obadiah,⁵⁶⁶² and Hanan:²⁶⁰⁵ these⁴²⁸ were the sons¹¹²¹ of Azel.⁶⁸²

1 καὶ πᾶς Ισραηλ ὁ συλλοχισμὸς αὐτῶν καὶ οὗτοι καταγεγραμμένοι ἐν βιβλίῳ τῶν βασιλέων Ισραηλ καὶ Ιουδα μετὰ τῶν ἀποικισθέντων εἰς Βαβυλῶνα ἐν ταῖς ἀνομίαις αὐτῶν

2 καὶ οἱ κατοικοῦντες πρότερον ἐν ταῖς κατασχέσεσιν αὐτῶν ἐν ταῖς πόλεσιν Ισραηλ οἱ ἱερεῖς οἱ Λευῖται καὶ οἱ δεδομένοι

3 καὶ ἐν Ιερουσαλημ κατῴκησαν ἀπὸ τῶν υἱῶν Ιουδα καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν υἱῶν Βενιαμιν καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν υἱῶν Εφραιμ καὶ Μανασση

4 Γωθι υἱὸς Αμμιουδ υἱοῦ Αμρι υἱοῦ υἱῶν Φαρες υἱοῦ Ιουδα

5 καὶ ἐκ τῶν Σηλωνι Ασαια πρωτότοκος αὐτοῦ καὶ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ

6 ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν Ζαρα Ιιηλ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν ἑξακόσιοι καὶ ἐνενήκοντα

7 καὶ ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν Βενιαμιν Σαλω υἱὸς Μοσολλαμ υἱοῦ Ωδουια υἱοῦ Σαναα

8 καὶ Ιβαναα υἱὸς Ιρααμ καὶ οὗτοι υἱοὶ Οζι υἱοῦ Μαχιρ καὶ Μασσαλημ υἱὸς Σαφατια υἱοῦ Ραγουηλ υἱοῦ Βαναια

9 καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν κατὰ γενέσεις αὐτῶν ἐννακόσιοι πεντήκοντα ἕξ πάντες οἱ ἄνδρες ἄρχοντες πατριῶν κατ᾽ οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν

10 καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν ἱερέων Ιωδαε καὶ Ιωαριμ καὶ Ιαχιν

11 καὶ Αζαρια υἱὸς Χελκια υἱοῦ Μοσολλαμ υἱοῦ Σαδωκ υἱοῦ Μαραιωθ υἱοῦ Αχιτωβ ἡγούμενος οἴκου τοῦ θεοῦ

12 καὶ Αδαια υἱὸς Ιρααμ υἱοῦ Πασχωρ υἱοῦ Μαλχια καὶ Μαασαια υἱὸς Αδιηλ υἱοῦ Ιεδιου υἱοῦ Μοσολλαμ υἱοῦ Μασελμωθ υἱοῦ Εμμηρ

13 καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν ἄρχοντες οἴκων πατριῶν χίλιοι ἑπτακόσιοι ἑξήκοντα ἰσχυροὶ δυνάμει εἰς ἐργασίαν λειτουργίας οἴκου τοῦ θεοῦ

14 καὶ ἐκ τῶν Λευιτῶν Σαμαια υἱὸς Ασωβ υἱοῦ Εσρικαμ υἱοῦ Ασαβια ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν Μεραρι

15 καὶ Βακβακαρ καὶ Αρης καὶ Γαλαλ καὶ Μανθανιας υἱὸς Μιχα υἱοῦ Ζεχρι υἱοῦ Ασαφ

16 καὶ Αβδια υἱὸς Σαμια υἱοῦ Γαλαλ υἱοῦ Ιδιθων καὶ Βαραχια υἱὸς Οσσα υἱοῦ Ηλκανα ὁ κατοικῶν ἐν ταῖς κώμαις Νετωφατι

17 οἱ πυλωροί Σαλωμ καὶ Ακουβ καὶ Ταλμαν καὶ Αιμαν καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν Σαλωμ ὁ ἄρχων

18 καὶ ἕως ταύτης ἐν τῇ πύλῃ τοῦ βασιλέως κατ᾽ ἀνατολάς αὗται αἱ πύλαι τῶν παρεμβολῶν υἱῶν Λευι

19 καὶ Σαλωμ υἱὸς Κωρη υἱοῦ Αβιασαφ υἱοῦ Κορε καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ εἰς οἶκον πατρὸς αὐτοῦ οἱ Κορῖται ἐπὶ τῶν ἔργων τῆς λειτουργίας φυλάσσοντες τὰς φυλακὰς τῆς σκηνῆς καὶ πατέρες αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τῆς παρεμβολῆς κυρίου φυλάσσοντες τὴν εἴσοδον

20 καὶ Φινεες υἱὸς Ελεαζαρ ἡγούμενος ἦν ἐπ᾽ αὐτῶν ἔμπροσθεν καὶ οὗτοι μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ

21 Ζαχαριας υἱὸς Μασαλαμι πυλωρὸς τῆς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου

22 πάντες οἱ ἐκλεκτοὶ ταῖς πύλαις ἐν ταῖς πύλαις διακόσιοι καὶ δέκα δύο οὗτοι ἐν ταῖς αὐλαῖς αὐτῶν ὁ καταλοχισμὸς αὐτῶν τούτους ἔστησεν Δαυιδ καὶ Σαμουηλ ὁ βλέπων τῇ πίστει αὐτῶν

23 καὶ οὗτοι καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τῶν πυλῶν ἐν οἴκῳ κυρίου ἐν οἴκῳ τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ φυλάσσειν

24 κατὰ τοὺς τέσσαρας ἀνέμους ἦσαν αἱ πύλαι κατ᾽ ἀνατολάς θάλασσαν βορρᾶν νότον

25 καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν ἐν ταῖς αὐλαῖς αὐτῶν τοῦ εἰσπορεύεσθαι κατὰ ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας ἀπὸ καιροῦ εἰς καιρὸν μετὰ τούτων

26 ὅτι ἐν πίστει εἰσὶν τέσσαρες δυνατοὶ τῶν πυλῶν οἱ Λευῖται ἦσαν ἐπὶ τῶν παστοφορίων καὶ ἐπὶ τῶν θησαυρῶν οἴκου τοῦ θεοῦ

27 καὶ περικύκλῳ οἴκου τοῦ θεοῦ παρεμβαλοῦσιν ὅτι ἐπ᾽ αὐτοὺς φυλακή καὶ οὗτοι ἐπὶ τῶν κλειδῶν τὸ πρωὶ πρωὶ ἀνοίγειν τὰς θύρας τοῦ ἱεροῦ

28 καὶ ἐξ αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὰ σκεύη τῆς λειτουργίας ὅτι ἐν ἀριθμῷ εἰσοίσουσιν αὐτὰ καὶ ἐν ἀριθμῷ ἐξοίσουσιν αὐτά

29 καὶ ἐξ αὐτῶν καθεσταμένοι ἐπὶ τὰ σκεύη καὶ ἐπὶ πάντα τὰ σκεύη τὰ ἅγια καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς σεμιδάλεως τοῦ οἴνου τοῦ ἐλαίου τοῦ λιβανωτοῦ καὶ τῶν ἀρωμάτων

30 καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν υἱῶν τῶν ἱερέων ἦσαν μυρεψοὶ τοῦ μύρου καὶ εἰς τὰ ἀρώματα

31 καὶ Ματταθιας ἐκ τῶν Λευιτῶν οὗτος ὁ πρωτότοκος τῷ Σαλωμ τῷ Κορίτῃ ἐν τῇ πίστει ἐπὶ τὰ ἔργα τῆς θυσίας τοῦ τηγάνου τοῦ μεγάλου ἱερέως

32 καὶ Βαναιας ὁ Κααθίτης ἐκ τῶν ἀδελφῶν αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τῶν ἄρτων τῆς προθέσεως τοῦ ἑτοιμάσαι σάββατον κατὰ σάββατον

33 καὶ οὗτοι ψαλτῳδοὶ ἄρχοντες τῶν πατριῶν τῶν Λευιτῶν διατεταγμέναι ἐφημερίαι ὅτι ἡμέρα καὶ νὺξ ἐπ᾽ αὐτοῖς ἐν τοῖς ἔργοις

35 καὶ ἐν Γαβαων κατῴκησεν πατὴρ Γαβαων Ιιηλ καὶ ὄνομα γυναικὸς αὐτοῦ Μοωχα

36 καὶ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ ὁ πρωτότοκος Αβαδων καὶ Σιρ καὶ Κις καὶ Βααλ καὶ Νηρ καὶ Ναδαβ

37 καὶ Γεδουρ καὶ ἀδελφὸς καὶ Ζαχαρια καὶ Μακελλωθ

38 καὶ Μακελλωθ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Σαμαα καὶ οὗτοι ἐν μέσῳ τῶν ἀδελφῶν αὐτῶν κατῴκησαν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ μετὰ τῶν ἀδελφῶν αὐτῶν

39 καὶ Νηρ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Κις καὶ Κις ἐγέννησεν τὸν Σαουλ καὶ Σαουλ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ιωναθαν καὶ τὸν Μελχισουε καὶ τὸν Αμιναδαβ καὶ τὸν Ισβααλ

40 καὶ υἱὸς Ιωναθαν Μαριβααλ καὶ Μαριβααλ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Μιχα

41 καὶ υἱοὶ Μιχα Φαιθων καὶ Μαλαχ καὶ Θαραχ

42 καὶ Αχαζ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ιαδα καὶ Ιαδα ἐγέννησεν τὸν Γαλεμεθ καὶ τὸν Γαζμωθ καὶ τὸν Ζαμβρι καὶ Ζαμβρι ἐγέννησεν τὸν Μασα

43 καὶ Μασα ἐγέννησεν τὸν Βαανα Ραφαια υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Ελεασα υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Εσηλ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ

44 καὶ τῷ Εσηλ ἓξ υἱοί καὶ ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα αὐτῶν Εσδρικαμ πρωτότοκος αὐτοῦ Ισμαηλ καὶ Σαρια καὶ Αβδια καὶ Αναν οὗτοι υἱοὶ Εσηλ

‎1 ‏וְכָל־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ הִתְיַחְשׂ֔וּ וְהִנָּ֣ם כְּתוּבִ֔ים עַל־סֵ֖פֶר מַלְכֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וִיהוּדָ֛ה הָגְל֥וּ לְבָבֶ֖ל בְּמַעֲלָֽם׃ ס

‎2 ‏וְהַיּוֹשְׁבִים֙ הָרִ֣אשֹׁנִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר בַּאֲחֻזָּתָ֖ם בְּעָרֵיהֶ֑ם יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ הַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים הַלְוִיִּ֖ם וְהַנְּתִינִֽים׃

‎3 ‏וּבִירוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ יָשְׁב֔וּ מִן־בְּנֵ֥י יְהוּדָ֖ה וּמִן־בְּנֵ֣י בִנְיָמִ֑ן וּמִן־בְּנֵ֥י אֶפְרַ֖יִם וּמְנַשֶּֽׁה׃

‎4 ‏עוּתַ֨י בֶּן־עַמִּיה֤וּד בֶּן־עָמְרִי֙ בֶּן־אִמְרִ֣י בֶן־בנימן־ בָּנִ֔י מִן־ בְּנֵי־פֶ֖רֶץ בֶּן־יְהוּדָֽה׃

‎5 ‏וּמִן־הַשִּׁ֣ילוֹנִ֔י עֲשָׂיָ֥ה הַבְּכ֖וֹר וּבָנָֽיו׃

‎6 ‏וּמִן־בְּנֵי־זֶ֖רַח יְעוּאֵ֑ל וַאֲחֵיהֶ֖ם שֵׁשׁ־מֵא֥וֹת וְתִשְׁעִֽים׃

‎7 ‏וּמִן־בְּנֵ֖י בִּנְיָמִ֑ן סַלּוּא֙ בֶּן־מְשֻׁלָּ֔ם בֶּן־הוֹדַוְיָ֖ה בֶּן־הַסְּנֻאָֽה׃

‎8 ‏וְיִבְנְיָה֙ בֶּן־יְרֹחָ֔ם וְאֵלָ֥ה בֶן־עֻזִּ֖י בֶּן־מִכְרִ֑י וּמְשֻׁלָּם֙ בֶּן־שְׁפַטְיָ֔ה בֶּן־רְעוּאֵ֖ל בֶּן־יִבְנִיָּֽה׃

‎9 ‏וַאֲחֵיהֶם֙ לְתֹ֣לְדוֹתָ֔ם תְּשַׁ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת וַחֲמִשִּׁ֣ים וְשִׁשָּׁ֑ה כָּל־אֵ֣לֶּה אֲנָשִׁ֔ים רָאשֵׁ֥י אָב֖וֹת לְבֵ֥ית אֲבֹתֵיהֶֽם׃ ס

‎10 ‏וּמִן־הַֽכֹּהֲנִ֑ים יְדַֽעְיָ֥ה וִיהוֹיָרִ֖יב וְיָכִֽין׃

‎11 ‏וַעֲזַרְיָ֨ה בֶן־חִלְקִיָּ֜ה בֶּן־מְשֻׁלָּ֣ם בֶּן־צָד֗וֹק בֶּן־מְרָיוֹת֙ בֶּן־אֲחִיט֔וּב נְגִ֖יד בֵּ֥ית הָאֱלֹהִֽים׃ ס

‎12 ‏וַעֲדָיָה֙ בֶּן־יְרֹחָ֔ם בֶּן־פַּשְׁח֖וּר בֶּן־מַלְכִּיָּ֑ה וּמַעְשַׂ֨י בֶּן־עֲדִיאֵ֧ל בֶּן־יַחְזֵ֛רָה בֶּן־מְשֻׁלָּ֥ם בֶּן־מְשִׁלֵּמִ֖ית בֶּן־אִמֵּֽר׃

‎13 ‏וַאֲחֵיהֶ֗ם רָאשִׁים֙ לְבֵ֣ית אֲבוֹתָ֔ם אֶ֕לֶף וּשְׁבַ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת וְשִׁשִּׁ֑ים גִּבּ֣וֹרֵי חֵ֔יל מְלֶ֖אכֶת עֲבוֹדַ֥ת בֵּית־הָאֱלֹהִֽים׃

‎14 ‏וּמִֽן־הַלְוִיִּ֑ם שְׁמַֽעְיָ֧ה בֶן־חַשּׁ֛וּב בֶּן־עַזְרִיקָ֥ם בֶּן־חֲשַׁבְיָ֖ה מִן־בְּנֵ֥י מְרָרִֽי׃

‎15 ‏וּבַקְבַּקַּ֥ר חֶ֖רֶשׁ וְגָלָ֑ל וּמַתַּנְיָה֙ בֶּן־מִיכָ֔א בֶּן־זִכְרִ֖י בֶּן־אָסָֽף׃

‎16 ‏וְעֹבַדְיָה֙ בֶּֽן־שְׁמַֽעְיָ֔ה בֶּן־גָּלָ֖ל בֶּן־יְדוּת֑וּן וּבֶרֶכְיָ֤ה בֶן־אָסָא֙ בֶּן־אֶלְקָנָ֔ה הַיּוֹשֵׁ֖ב בְּחַצְרֵ֥י נְטוֹפָתִֽי׃

‎17 ‏וְהַשֹּׁעֲרִים֙ שַׁלּ֣וּם וְעַקּ֔וּב וְטַלְמֹ֖ן וַאֲחִימָ֑ן וַאֲחִיהֶ֥ם שַׁלּ֖וּם הָרֹֽאשׁ׃

‎18 ‏וְֽעַד־הֵ֔נָּה בְּשַׁ֥עַר הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ מִזְרָ֑חָה הֵ֚מָּה הַשֹּׁ֣עֲרִ֔ים לְמַחֲנ֖וֹת בְּנֵ֥י לֵוִֽי׃

‎19 ‏וְשַׁלּ֣וּם בֶּן־ק֠וֹרֵא בֶּן־אֶבְיָסָ֨ף בֶּן־קֹ֜רַח³ וְֽאֶחָ֧יו לְבֵית־אָבִ֣יו הַקָּרְחִ֗ים עַ֚ל מְלֶ֣אכֶת הָעֲבוֹדָ֔ה שֹׁמְרֵ֥י הַסִּפִּ֖ים לָאֹ֑הֶל וַאֲבֹֽתֵיהֶם֙ עַל־מַחֲנֵ֣ה יְהוָ֔ה שֹׁמְרֵ֖י הַמָּבֽוֹא׃

‎20 ‏וּפִֽינְחָ֣ס בֶּן־אֶלְעָזָ֗ר נָגִ֨יד הָיָ֧ה עֲלֵיהֶ֛ם לְפָנִ֖ים יְהוָ֥ה׀ עִמּֽוֹ׃

‎21 ‏זְכַרְיָה֙ בֶּ֣ן מְשֶֽׁלֶמְיָ֔ה שֹׁעֵ֥ר פֶּ֖תַח לְאֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃

‎22 ‏כֻּלָּ֤ם הַבְּרוּרִים֙ לְשֹׁעֲרִ֣ים בַּסִּפִּ֔ים מָאתַ֖יִם וּשְׁנֵ֣ים עָשָׂ֑ר הֵ֤מָּה בְחַצְרֵיהֶם֙ הִתְיַחְשָׂ֔ם הֵ֣מָּה יִסַּ֥ד דָּוִ֛יד וּשְׁמוּאֵ֥ל הָרֹאֶ֖ה בֶּאֱמוּנָתָֽם׃

‎23 ‏וְהֵ֨ם וּבְנֵיהֶ֜ם עַל־הַשְּׁעָרִ֧ים לְבֵית־יְהוָ֛ה לְבֵ֥ית־הָאֹ֖הֶל לְמִשְׁמָרֽוֹת׃

‎24 ‏לְאַרְבַּ֣ע רוּח֔וֹת יִהְי֖וּ הַשֹּׁעֲרִ֑ים מִזְרָ֥ח יָ֖מָּה צָפ֥וֹנָה וָנֶֽגְבָּה׃

‎25 ‏וַאֲחֵיהֶ֨ם בְּחַצְרֵיהֶ֜ם לָב֨וֹא לְשִׁבְעַ֧ת הַיָּמִ֛ים מֵעֵ֥ת אֶל־עֵ֖ת עִם־אֵֽלֶּה׃

‎26 ‏כִּ֣י בֶאֱמוּנָ֞ה הֵ֗מָּה אַרְבַּ֙עַת֙ גִּבֹּרֵ֣י הַשֹּׁעֲרִ֔ים הֵ֖ם הַלְוִיִּ֑ם וְהָיוּ֙ עַל־הַלְּשָׁכ֔וֹת וְעַ֥ל הָאֹצְר֖וֹת בֵּ֥ית הָאֱלֹהִֽים׃

‎27 ‏וּסְבִיב֥וֹת בֵּית־הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים יָלִ֑ינוּ כִּֽי־עֲלֵיהֶ֣ם מִשְׁמֶ֔רֶת וְהֵ֥ם עַל־הַמַּפְתֵּ֖חַ וְלַבֹּ֥קֶר לַבֹּֽקֶר׃

‎28 ‏וּמֵהֶ֖ם עַל־כְּלֵ֣י הָעֲבוֹדָ֑ה כִּֽי־בְמִסְפָּ֣ר יְבִיא֔וּם וּבְמִסְפָּ֖ר יוֹצִיאֽוּם׃

‎29 ‏וּמֵהֶ֗ם מְמֻנִּים֙ עַל־הַכֵּלִ֔ים וְעַ֖ל כָּל־כְּלֵ֣י הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ וְעַל־הַסֹּ֙לֶת֙ וְהַיַּ֣יִן וְהַשֶּׁ֔מֶן וְהַלְּבוֹנָ֖ה וְהַבְּשָׂמִֽים׃

‎30 ‏וּמִן־בְּנֵי֙ הַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים רֹקְחֵ֥י הַמִּרְקַ֖חַת לַבְּשָׂמִֽים׃

‎31 ‏וּמַתִּתְיָה֙ מִן־הַלְוִיִּ֔ם ה֥וּא הַבְּכ֖וֹר לְשַׁלֻּ֣ם הַקָּרְחִ֑י בֶּאֱמוּנָ֕ה עַ֖ל מַעֲשֵׂ֥ה הַחֲבִתִּֽים׃

‎32 ‏וּמִן־בְּנֵ֧י הַקְּהָתִ֛י מִן־אֲחֵיהֶ֖ם עַל־לֶ֣חֶם הַֽמַּעֲרָ֑כֶת לְהָכִ֖ין שַׁבַּ֥ת שַׁבָּֽת׃ ס

‎33 ‏וְאֵ֣לֶּה הַ֠מְשֹׁרְרִים רָאשֵׁ֨י אָב֧וֹת לַלְוִיִּ֛ם בַּלְּשָׁכֹ֖ת פטירים פְּטוּרִ֑ים כִּֽי־יוֹמָ֥ם וָלַ֛יְלָה עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם בַּמְּלָאכָֽה׃

‎34 ‏אֵלֶּה֩ רָאשֵׁ֨י הָאָב֧וֹת לַלְוִיִּ֛ם לְתֹלְדוֹתָ֖ם רָאשִׁ֑ים אֵ֖לֶּה יָשְׁב֥וּ בִירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ פ

‎35 ‏וּבְגִבְע֛וֹן יָשְׁב֥וּ אֲבִֽי־גִבְע֖וֹן יעואל יְעִיאֵ֑ל וְשֵׁ֥ם אִשְׁתּ֖וֹ מַעֲכָֽה׃

‎36 ‏וּבְנ֥וֹ הַבְּכ֖וֹר עַבְדּ֑וֹן וְצ֣וּר וְקִ֔ישׁ וּבַ֥עַל וְנֵ֖ר וְנָדָֽב׃

‎37 ‏וּגְד֣וֹר וְאַחְי֔וֹ וּזְכַרְיָ֖ה וּמִקְלֽוֹת׃

‎38 ‏וּמִקְל֖וֹת³ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־שִׁמְאָ֑ם וְאַף־הֵ֗ם נֶ֧גֶד אֲחֵיהֶ֛ם יָשְׁב֥וּ בִירֽוּשָׁלִַ֖ם עִם־אֲחֵיהֶֽם׃ ס

‎39 ‏וְנֵר֙ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־קִ֔ישׁ וְקִ֖ישׁ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־שָׁא֑וּל וְשָׁא֗וּל הוֹלִ֤יד אֶת־יְהֽוֹנָתָן֙ וְאֶת־מַלְכִּי־שׁ֔וּעַ וְאֶת־אֲבִינָדָ֖ב וְאֶת־אֶשְׁבָּֽעַל׃

‎40 ‏וּבֶן־יְהוֹנָתָ֖ן מְרִ֣יב בָּ֑עַל וּמְרִי־בַ֖עַל הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת־מִיכָֽה׃

‎41 ‏וּבְנֵ֖י מִיכָ֑ה פִּית֥וֹן וָמֶ֖לֶךְ וְתַחְרֵֽעַ׃

‎42 ‏וְאָחָז֙ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־יַעְרָ֔ה וְיַעְרָ֗ה הוֹלִ֛יד אֶת־עָלֶ֥מֶת וְאֶת־עַזְמָ֖וֶת וְאֶת־זִמְרִ֑י וְזִמְרִ֖י הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת־מוֹצָֽא׃

‎43 ‏וּמוֹצָ֖א הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־בִּנְעָ֑א וּרְפָיָ֥ה בְנ֛וֹ אֶלְעָשָׂ֥ה בְנ֖וֹ אָצֵ֥ל בְּנֽוֹ׃

‎44 ‏וּלְאָצֵל֮ שִׁשָּׁ֣ה בָנִים֒ וְאֵ֣לֶּה שְׁמוֹתָ֗ם עַזְרִיקָ֥ם׀ בֹּ֙כְרוּ֙ וְיִשְׁמָעֵ֣אל וּשְׁעַרְיָ֔ה וְעֹבַדְיָ֖ה וְחָנָ֑ן אֵ֖לֶּה בְּנֵ֥י אָצַֽל׃ פ

1 Universus ergo Israël dinumeratus est, et summa eorum scripta est in libro regum Israël et Juda: translatique sunt in Babylonem propter delictum suum.

2 Qui autem habitaverunt primi in possessionibus et in urbibus suis: Israël, et sacerdotes, et Levitæ, et Nathinæi.

3 Commorati sunt in Jerusalem de filiis Juda, et de filiis Benjamin, de filiis quoque Ephraim, et Manasse.

4 Othei filius Ammiud, filii Amri, filii Omrai, filii Bonni, de filiis Phares filii Juda.

5 Et de Siloni: Asaia primogenitus, et filii ejus.

6 De filiis autem Zara, Jehuel, et fratres eorum, sexcenti nonaginta.

7 Porro de filiis Benjamin: Salo filius Mosollam, filii Oduia, filii Asana,

8 et Jobania filius Jeroham, et Ela filius Ozi, filii Mochori, et Mosollam filius Saphatiæ, filii Rahuel, filii Jebaniæ,

9 et fratres eorum per familias suas, nongenti quinquaginta sex. Omnes hi principes cognationum per domos patrum suorum.

10 De sacerdotibus autem: Jedaia, Jojarib, et Jachin:

11 Azarias quoque filius Helciæ, filii Mosollam, filii Sadoc, filii Maraioth, filii Achitob, pontifex domus Dei.

12 Porro Adaias filius Jeroham, filii Phassur, filii Melchiæ, et Maasai filius Adiel filii Jezra, filii Mosollam, filii Mosollamith, filii Emmer.

13 Fratres quoque eorum principes per familias suas, mille septingenti sexaginta, fortissimi robore ad faciendum opus ministerii in domo Dei.

14 De Levitis autem: Semeia filius Hassub filii Ezricam, filii Hasebia de filiis Merari.

15 Bacbacar quoque carpentarius, et Galal, et Mathania filius Micha, filii Zechri, filii Asaph:

16 et Obdia filius Semeiæ, filii Galal, filii Idithun: et Barachia filius Asa, filii Elcana, qui habitavit in atriis Netophati.

17 Janitores autem: Sellum, et Accub, et Telmon, et Ahimam: et frater eorum Sellum princeps,

18 usque ad illud tempus, in porta regis ad orientem, observabant per vices suas de filiis Levi.

19 Sellum vero filius Core filii Abiasaph, filii Core, cum fratribus suis, et domo patris sui, hi sunt Coritæ super opera ministerii, custodes vestibulorum tabernaculi: et familiæ eorum per vices castrorum Domini custodientes introitum.

20 Phinees autem filius Eleazari erat dux eorum coram Domino.

21 Porro Zacharias filius Mosollamia, janitor portæ tabernaculi testimonii.

22 Omnes hi electi in ostiarios per portas, ducenti duodecim: et descripti in villis propriis, quos constituerunt David, et Samuel videns, in fide sua,

23 tam ipsos quam filios eorum, in ostiis domus Domini et in tabernaculo vicibus suis.

24 Per quatuor ventos erant ostiarii: id est, ad orientem, et ad occidentem, et ad aquilonem, et ad austrum.

25 Fratres autem eorum in viculis morabantur, et veniebant in sabbatis suis de tempore usque ad tempus.

26 His quatuor Levitis creditus erat omnis numerus janitorum, et erant super exedras et thesauros domus Domini.

27 Per gyrum quoque templi Domini morabantur in custodiis suis: ut cum tempus fuisset, ipsi mane aperirent fores.

28 De horum genere erant et super vasa ministerii: ad numerum enim et inferebantur vasa, et efferebantur.

29 De ipsis et qui credita habebant utensilia sanctuarii, præerant similæ, et vino, et oleo, et thuri, et aromatibus.

30 Filii autem sacerdotum unguenta ex aromatibus conficiebant.

31 Et Mathathias Levites primogenitus Sellum Coritæ, præfectus erat eorum quæ in sartagine frigebantur.

32 Porro de filiis Caath fratribus eorum, super panes erant propositionis, ut semper novos per singula sabbata præpararent.

33 Hi sunt principes cantorum per familias Levitarum, qui in exedris morabantur, ut die ac nocte jugiter suo ministerio deservirent.

34 Capita Levitarum, per familias suas principes, manserunt in Jerusalem.

35 In Gabaon autem commorati sunt pater Gabaon Jehiel, et nomen uxoris ejus Maacha.

36 Filius primogenitus ejus Abdon, et Sur, et Cis, et Baal, et Ner, et Nadab,

37 Gedor quoque, et Ahio, et Zacharias, et Macelloth.

38 Porro Macelloth genuit Samaan: isti habitaverunt e regione fratrum suorum in Jerusalem cum fratribus suis.

39 Ner autem genuit Cis, et Cis genuit Saul, et Saul genuit Jonathan, et Melchisua, et Abinadab, et Esbaal.

40 Filius autem Jonathan, Meribbaal: et Meribbaal genuit Micha.

41 Porro filii Micha, Phithon, et Melech, et Tharaa, et Ahaz.

42 Ahaz autem genuit Jara, et Jara genuit Alamath, et Azmoth, et Zamri. Zamri autem genuit Mosa.

43 Mosa vero genuit Banaa, cujus filius Raphaia, genuit Elasa, de quo ortus est Asel.

44 Porro Asel sex filios habuit, his nominibus: Ezricam, Bocru, Ismahel, Saria, Obdia, Hanan: hi sunt filii Asel.
