Chapître 110

1

A Psalm of David.
The LORD said⁷ unto my Lord, Sit³ thou at my right hand, until I make⁴ thine enemies⁶ thy footstool. ⁷²⁷²

The LORD shall send⁴ the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule³ thou in the midst of thine enemies.⁶

Thy people [shall be] willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

The LORD hath sworn,⁸ and will not repent,¹¹ Thou [art] a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

The Lord at thy right hand shall strike¹ through kings in the day of his wrath.

6

He shall judge⁴ among the heathen, he shall fill¹ [the places] with the dead bodies; he shall wound¹ the heads over many countries.

7

He shall drink⁴ of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up⁵⁵ the head.
