Chapître 101

1

A Psalm of David.
I will sing⁴ of mercy and judgment: unto thee, O LORD, will I sing.¹⁷

I will behave myself wisely⁵⁵ in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come⁴ unto me? I will walk¹⁰¹ within my house with a perfect heart.

I will set⁴ no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate¹ the work² of them that turn aside; [it] shall not cleave⁴ to me.

A froward heart shall depart⁴ from me: I will not know⁴ a wicked [person].

Whoso privily slandereth^{18 3960 26} his neighbour, him will I cut off:⁵⁵ him that hath an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer.⁴

Mine eyes [shall be] upon the faithful¹² of the land, that they may dwell² with me: he that walketh⁶ in a perfect way, he shall serve¹⁷ me.

He that worketh⁶ deceit shall not dwell⁴ within my house: he that telleth⁶ lies shall not tarry¹¹ in my sight.

I will early destroy⁵⁵ all the wicked of the land; that I may cut off⁵³ all wicked doers⁶ from the city of the LORD.
