Chapître 75

1

To the chief Musician,¹⁸ Altaschith, ^{7843 55 516} A Psalm [or] Song of Asaph.
Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks,⁵² [unto thee] do we give thanks:⁵² for [that] thy name is near thy wondrous works¹² declare.¹⁴

When I shall receive⁴ the congregation I will judge⁴ uprightly.

The earth and all the inhabitants⁶ thereof are dissolved:¹² I bear up¹⁴ the pillars of it. Selah.

I said¹ unto the fools,⁶ Deal not foolishly:⁴ and to the wicked, Lift not up⁵⁵ the horn:

Lift not up⁵⁵ your horn on high: speak¹⁷ [not with] a stiff neck.

For promotion^{53 2022} [cometh] neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.

But God [is] the judge:⁶ he putteth down⁵⁵ one, and setteth up⁵⁵ another.

For in the hand of the LORD [there is] a cup, and the wine is red;¹ it is full of mixture; and he poureth out⁵⁵ of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring [them] out,⁴ [and] drink⁴ [them].

But I will declare⁵⁵ for ever; I will sing praises¹⁷ to the God of Jacob.

All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off;¹⁷ [but] the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.³⁷
