Chapître 43

1

 Judge³ me, O God, and plead³ my cause against an ungodly ²⁶²³ nation: O deliver¹⁷ me from the deceitful and unjust man.

2

For thou [art] the God of my strength: why dost thou cast me off?¹ why go¹⁰¹ I mourning⁶ because of the oppression of the enemy?⁶

O send out³ thy light and thy truth: let them lead⁵⁵ me; let them bring⁵⁵ me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.

Then will I go⁴ unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise⁵⁵ thee, O God my God.

Why art thou cast down,¹¹³ O my soul? and why art thou disquieted⁴ within me? hope⁵⁴ in God: for I shall yet praise⁵⁵ him, [who is] the health of my countenance, and my God.
