Chapître 26

1

[A Psalm] of David.
Judge³ me, O LORD; for I have walked¹ in mine integrity: I have trusted¹ also in the LORD; [therefore] I shall not slide.⁴

2

 Examine³ me, O LORD, and prove¹⁶ me; try³ my reins and my heart.

3

For thy lovingkindness [is] before mine eyes: and I have walked⁹⁸ in thy truth.

4

I have not sat¹ with vain persons, neither will I go in⁴ with dissemblers.¹²

5

I have hated¹ the congregation of evil doers;⁵⁶ and will not sit⁴ with the wicked.

I will wash⁴ mine hands in innocency: so will I compass²⁵ thine altar, O LORD:

7

That I may publish⁵³ with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell¹⁵ of all thy wondrous works.¹²

 LORD, I have loved¹ the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.

9

 Gather⁴ not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men:

10

In whose hands [is] mischief, and their right hand is full¹ of bribes.

11

But as for me, I will walk⁴ in mine integrity: redeem³ me, and be merciful³ unto me.

12

My foot standeth¹ in an even place: in the congregations will I bless¹⁷ the LORD.
