Le Livre de Job
Chapître 26
1
But
Job
answered
4
and
said,
4
2
How hast thou
helped
1
[him that is]
without
power?
[how]
savest
52
thou the
arm
[that hath]
no
strength?
3
How hast thou
counselled
1
[him that hath]
no
wisdom?
and [how] hast thou
plentifully
declared
52
the thing as it
is?
4
To whom hast thou
uttered
52
words?
and whose
spirit
came
1
from thee?
5
Dead
[things] are
formed
34
from under the
waters,
and the
inhabitants
6
thereof.
6
Hell
[is]
naked
before him, and
destruction
hath no
covering.
7
He stretcheth
out
6
the
north
over the empty
place,
[and]
hangeth
6
the
earth
upon
nothing.
8
He bindeth
up
6
the
waters
in his thick
clouds;
and the
cloud
is not
rent
8
under them.
9
He holdeth
back
18
the
face
of his
throne,
[and]
spreadeth
40
his
cloud
upon it.
10
He hath
compassed
1
the
waters
with
bounds,
until the
day
and
night
come to an
end.
11
The
pillars
of
heaven
tremble
34
and are
astonished
4
at his
reproof.
12
He
divideth
1
the
sea
with his
power,
and by his
understanding
he
smiteth
1
through the
proud.
13
By his
spirit
he hath
garnished
14
the
heavens;
his
hand
hath
formed
31
the
crooked
serpent.
14
Lo, these [are]
parts
of his
ways:
but how
little
a
portion
is
heard
8
of him? but the
thunder
of his
power
who can
understand?
