PLEISTHENES

a son of Atreus, and husband of Aerope or Eriphyle, the daughter of Catreus, by whom he became the father of Agamemnon, Menelaus, and Anaxibia (Apollodorus. ii.).

A son of Thyestes, who was killed by Atreus, was likewise called Pleisthenes.
